at what age did your child stop breastfeeding?

I stopped when they started biting! Seriously. Ouch! It was about 10 months old with my first, never with my second (he was an icu baby and they bottle fed him so he was too lazy) and 6 months with my third. I missed it when it was over.

Six years old...can't imagine it. My six year old logs on to the computer, tries to look like Britney Spears (tries being the operative word) and loves to argue...I can't imagine she would want to breastfeed!

I guess my friend Janet and myself were blessed. We have both had children and breastfeed (though I admit my stint with the breastfeeding only lasted 2 months with the first and 6 weeks with the second) and our "ladies" are better looking than ever.... I just can't believe this many people's breasts were ruined by pregnancy and breastfeeding!

I stopped BF my DD at 21 months. wasaiming for 2 yrs but she started playing instead of nursing. I pumped for 13 months I work at a hospital so it was easy to use the hospital grade pumps.

hello-"OP" here-
the child does not just do it at bedtime-she does it repeatedly throughout the day (with exception of when at school cuz mom's not there AND they won't permit mom to do it when picking up or dropping off kid at classroom).

I am surprised by the fact that this family even sends their children to school, and aren't homeschooling.
