DS was born with a full head of hair. So, much hair that we could see it in my 5 month sonogram. First haircut at 3 months!
Both my kids had hair when they were born. DS was a blond, and his inch and half long hair wasn't as noticable as DD's. She was born with lots of dark hair, about 2 inches long, standing straight up.
I just "knew" in my heart she was going to be a girl, even without ultrasound proof. (She wouldn't uncross her legs, so we had no proof.) We just
knew. When I was in labor, one of the nurses said, "Oh my goodness, I can see the top of the head, and there's a lot of hair." Being silly, DH and I laughed, and said, "See, there's hair. The baby has to be a girl." The nurse looked at us like we were idiots, and tried to explain that boys could be born with hair too. We both laughed so hard at her. That poor nurse thought she was dealing with idiots.
DS will be 23 in May. He hasn't had his hair cut since last August. His hair is now the thickest hair I have ever seen on a human. He's got more hair on his head than any 3 people put together. It doesn't get long, it just gets fluffy, with loose waves.
Another three months, and he'll be ready to donate three nice thick bunches of hair to Locks of Love. He's a good hearted guy, but the real reason he's growing it out is just because he never bothers to get his hair cut. At this point, I've convinced him to not even bother with his semi-annual hair cut until he can make the donation.
