Given that the dollar is now flirting with the $0.80 mark, an at-par deal is only going to realize you a 20% discount. You may very well be much better off by taking advantage of other deals and promotions that WDW might be offering at the time you want to go. Don't blind yourself to other opportunities just because you see the words "AT-PAR".

I have figured out that it is cheaper to just buy the passes un US dollars because the prices include taxes...at the Disney Store a 5 day adult pass is $372 taxes in...if you take the $265 on the site posted (taxes in) it converts to $334 taxes in! Much cheaper.

Last year the at-par discount was set at 31% even though the exchange rate was > $0.75CAD per USD.

The way they did it last year, it's wasn't really an at-par discount so much as it was a package discount just for Canadians.

Yes, last spring we got the Cdn at Par Pkg deal-the rate/deal was set in Oct 2003 at 1.69.

I called this morning and the IDA Canadian-at-par code was not in their system. I had booked earlier today using the current room-only discount but wanted to see if I could get a better deal. Anything to save a buck...to spend somewhere else at WDW.

Mousesavers has removed this Canadian room only code from their website and replaced it with a Canadian Dream Maker package at par deal but you have to put on a VISA card.
