Would you believe it's time to think about the holidays... I know they sneak up on me, so I'm adding this link for a great website to help stay on top of things. It starts this week, and runs through new year's. Every week, we will tackle a different area, and by the time the holidays roll around, we will be ready.

e-mail out football sweatshirt flyer because the coach is too lazy to enter in all the e-mail addys himself done

clean kitchen done

run if it stops raining doubt if I will have time

go to football game - GO CHIX!!!! will be ready to go at 6:30

make dinner doing it now

scrap if I can get the rest done (except the football game) not happening

DH's must do:

Go to bank for notary and deposit checks

go to Dr for surgical consult (I'll update later on that)

help me move everything off the floor of basement to prepare for Hurricane Hanna

Boy's must do:
DS12 - homework, 20 minutes SSR, Kitchen Helper SSR done at the dentist

DS7 - homework, 20 minutes SSR, Vacuum under table SSR done at the dentist

DS6 - homework, 20 minutes SSR, clear table

SSR= silent sustained reading

DD2 - dishwasher with Mama

morning all!

ok my should do list for the day....

1.get ds off on the bus
2.work
3.deposit $ at credit union
4.pay some bills
5.mom has dr's appt
6.call and find out about swim on sat. does he or does he not have it. i can't get a straight answer out of anyone over there. they have a new swim coach have not met her yet. not happy about that. she did leave a message the other day, but i'd like to meet her face to face.
7.pick up pics at cvs. -still have not done this yet.-been on my list all week!
8.prep supper.
9.the never ending laundry. it's multiplying down there.
10.vacuum
11.find out about scholastic warehouse sale. i'd love to get in there and get my little man tons of books from santa!
12.post office
13. get my little man off the bus
14. finish rolodex cards. i love they way there are looking right now. they are not glued down just layed out.

ok that is just way too much stuff to do! what do you think my odds are that i'll do the whole list??? i'll give it the ol' college try!

Go look at puppies this morning. Done, I'm in love.
Finish up laundry, okay that never ends, but I can pretend for one day.
Figure out where I put the swap stuff I was working on. Flocking snowmen, they made me move stuff out of the way. And, well, it is really out of the way now.
Did downstairs bathroom yesterday, do upstairs today.
Vacuum the steps. They are gross.

Another great night of sleep. it rained!!!! Yeah!!!
Ok, after drying out from the soaking rain @ the XC meet that we ran yesterday; yes, I stand out there w/ my kid and got a photo or two...


Today:

UP done
Elem. kid up done
Elem. kid on bus done

balance ckbk. done

list of stores/errands to run before 10:30AM done

older kids up done, but not happy! oh, the joy of teens!
older kids on bus done

pulled directions for HS XC meet tomorrow AM/ and make sure we can avoid fairgrounds in said town because Obama is speaking in the same town I don't want to have to drive across into IL to get to a road to drive back into IN! Done, and we are running on a course specifically built for XC...and it is where the NCAA has held their championships!! Woo hoo! This should be cool!!!

AM done had to wash her shorts; the goof had woren them last night..luckily I found them today...and now all the laundry has been done.. small loads are really nice..but this means NO laundry this weekend other than hand washing DD's uniform for a weeknight meet!

Noahs school at 3 for ice cream social in his room - Not sure what they have planned since all the kids are under 1 but they say its for the parents and so we can meet each other.

address baby shower invites
wait out the storm - its just supposed to be rain but you never know with these hurricanes
pick up for parents to come tomorrow depending on weather

Mornin! DH had Bible study at 6:45 this morning so I had to get up WAAAAY too early!

1- drag myself out of bed done
2- coffee boost on cup #2
3- take DD to school done- it feels so good outside!!!
4- switch DS's car seats
5- take DH to work done
6- straighten kitchen
7- straighten living room as good as its going to get
8- make bed done
9- straighten bedroom done
10- spot clean bathrooms
11- pack for the weekend
12- go to BIL and SIL's!
13- clean out car mostly done
14- flocking laundry started
15- flip flops ran out of one color of ribbon... otherwise done...

Wow, that's a tough one. Hopefully the plumber doesn't take too long to get there.

The only nice thing is we don't have to worry about paying for it and that the areas closest to the bathrooms (main back up areas) are the ones the church have put off tiling so if things are ruined maybe they will tile trhem. A lot of what will be done will be on hold until after the storms pass by and we see what happens from them. At least we are only adults in the house and the church is very close so we can go there if we need to use the bathroom.

Well the Roto Rooter guy came out and that wasn't it so they are claning oput the spetic tank (which was full). Oh the fun of it all. But the drains are working again.
