At EPCOT today... loved the new Test Track

I rode the new version today and really enjoyed it! I wanted to share as I saw some posts to the contrary and was curious if I'd feel the same. I briefly lamented the loss of the old queue...but liked the new one too! If your a die hard TT fan, don't worry it's fun!

I like it too, but I also enjoyed the new Jack Sparrow thing at DHS....so I'm evidently very easy to please.

I'm glad you liked the new TT. We thought the complete opposite and didn't like it as much as the original. We actually all agreed, 9 of us in total, that we would never waste the time to wait in line or waste a fast pass for that ride. I'm not sure why we didn't like it, but it was interesting after riding it that we all felt the same way.

I am curious, what is different about it? I have only ridden it once as fast and motion rides make me sick and dumby me didn't realize it would be both when I rode it. I didn't get totally sick though so I have thought of riding it again but now I am unsure.

Same ride.
Different sets.

They removed just about everything that related to "testing" a car,
and instead, installed computer displays and colorful "tubes" of light.

Also rode it today. I loved it, the kids and DH preferred the old version.

Why DID they change it? I saw it only Kelly and Michael and it looked very different, but like Robo said, no test track things of any kind....

The sponsorship changed from GM, in general, to Chevrolet, in particular,
and the sponsor asked for (some say "demanded") a new makeover.

We enjoyed it ! My kids enjoyed "test driving" their car after we got off the ride on the racing track they have set up .
