At EPCOT - this is BAD

Poor little fella :(

With the humidity, hot weather etc. This could have turned into a mini brawl with other parents wanting to kick this guys a**. Especially if there had been a few people with a bit too much alcohol in them.

Hope the little one gets better soon!

Oh woah, the post I made came across wrong then! I was just saying I feel bad when I see parents lose it...and by lose it I mean yelling or whatever. I agree, ZERO excuse for what he did. I mean to me an EXTREME form of losing it is grabbing the kids arm...I cannot even imagine what goes through your head where kicking them in the face happens :sad2:

If I insinuated his behavior was acceptable, I would deserve the flame! It's not what I meant, believe me!

Don't worry. I read your post as meaning this was totally unacceptable and almost unimaginable. Perhaps the other poster didn't read it entirely.

Where the heck was his mom:confused3

If my husband kicked any child of mine I would do a little drop kick of my own:rolleyes1 before I divorced his ***

I am guessing that mom has been on the recceiving end of dad's wrath as well.

That poor little guy. Makes me absolutely sick.

I'd enjoy dealing with dad....wonder how he'd like a taste of his own medicine?

. But I don't care how hot, tired, frustrated or drunk someone is, or what their ethnic backround is (mafioso- really??). There is absolutely, under no circumstance a reason, justification or excuse that a grown man can have for using violence on a child. None.

I agree. That poor baby. I am in tears just thinking about what kind of "punishment" that dad gives him at home, if he'll kick him in the face in such a crowded place.

This is so terribly sad. You know the worst part for me is that this happened in public. Imagine what happens at home, behind closed doors. I am a social worker and, in the past, worked in child welfare for 10 years and have seen these horrible things first hand, all too often. I just hope the other parent gets some guts/support to leave and only allow supervised access.

So much for that oath to never harm.

We can only hope he'll lose his practice, maybe even his license.

How horrible! I feel so bad for the little boy (as well as the entire family whose vacation was probably ruined) :sad2:

This. And I have zero sympathy for women that stay with abusive men because more often than not, this is the kind of crap that happens to their kids.

Please don't take this as a flame against you- it truly isn't. But I don't care how hot, tired, frustrated or drunk someone is, or what their ethnic backround is (mafioso- really??). I'm not understanding reading the 2nd link about the story WHY authorities were unable to see the child? Seriously, if there was cause to have him arrested, and there were eye witness accounts the man kicked the child in the face, why would the parents have any say if authorities could order the child examined? And the parents claim in the interview it was the older sons fault? Unbelievable

The doctor would have needed a doctor if I had been there. And I would have enjoyed it. :cool2:

:crutches: That's what my DH just said too. I told him what you said and he said "Amen brother". I think there are a LOT of dads that would have moved on his butt in 2.3 seconds. And I take my hat off to them. :furious:
That poor child!!!

~That's disgusting! That poor baby, I really hope he will be okay! Kudos, to the CM's who reported this to the authorities. I totally despise child abusers. :(
I have not read all the posts yet, but it is a crime now in the State of FL if anyone witnesses child abuse and doesn't report it. So if you were there and saw it, and did not report it, you would be breaking the law

that is just what I thought when I heard it on the news! my heart breaks for this little boy :sad1:

Sadly, some are scared, or think that's normal because they may have been treated that way. You just never know. It's sad. My grandfather, I found out, was a pedophile (of little girls, my aunt, his daughter, that we know of). I never spoke to my grandmother about it and he died when I was 8. I always have to wonder, did she know? if she did, WHY did she ignore it? All I know is my mom and neighborhood friends said they were careful not to leave children alone w/ him. It's just sick!

this case of course, is physical and I'm sure since he took no pains to hide his abuse in public, his wife has seen it plenty. This kind of scum doesn't deserve to live IMO.

this is from cf 13 news now him and his wife are blaming their older son for causing the injuries on the younger son. but the witnesses are saying that it was him this happened out side the mexico exhibit he is out on 2,000 bond.

are they really blaming the older son (for the injuries) or did the older child actually hurt him as the younger child was already crying before the father kicked him in the face. This may be what they were telling the police :confused3 Maybe they aren't blaming the older child, maybe he did "hurt" him, which was why he was crying, then the dad went psycho and slapped the older child twice and then kicked the younger one for crying  just a thought?????? possibly??????

According to the police report, several witnesses told police they saw 41-year-old Napolitano arguing with his wife and children.

Moments later, witnesses said they saw him kick his 3-year-old son in the face at the Mexico exhibit in Epcot's World Showcase.

Investigators said the 3-year-old was sitting in his stroller, when his mother was yelling, "No, no, no."

The child was already crying before he was allegedly kicked in the face by his father.
