I didn't read anything in the news report that he had left the country. It would be interesting to know if they have seized his passport. I was hoping that CPS could prevent him from taking the child out of the country before a trial could begin.

People can get out on bail when they murder someone. Jerry Sandusky was out on bail. It's disgusting what he did, but I don't think they can hold him without bail.

I don't know what happens in this case, if they just send him back to Italy and then let authorities there handle it. Assuming the child's mother is from Italy, she probably is returning there with the child.
