At DC, do you bring your own Snorkel?

I am asking because I really am not thrilled with the idea of using someone else's snorkel pipe/tube. Just curious. Maggie
 
You have to use their equipment. You get to keep it though!

1 ) They provide snorkels but they are brand new and you take it home with you. They are your very basic inexpensive kind. You give back their mask.

2 ) But you may bring your own. We did. We both used our own snorkels and masks (saved their snorkel and brought home). My DS has special needs so his snorkel has close off valves at top so should it go under water it shuts and no water goes into it. His mask was also specially fitted for his head. But I used mine own as well. I had asked when I made reservations and they said it was no problem.

Thank you! I appreciate the information. I didn't like the whole germ spreading aspect of sharing a snorkel. If they are brand new, I will just use theirs. Maggie
