Interesting, an hour before park close & Hagrids is "at capacity." Is there a special event or something tonight? Parks don't seem that busy from the rest of the wait times.

The only thing I know of is HHN.

Yes, Universal closes earlier than IoA for HHN tonight. Everyone who doesn't have a ticket to HHN moves over to IoA. Hagrid's is the most popular ride in the park and is best ridden after dark.

Yes, but normally you can still get in line up until park close. I've only seen them close the line early for a special event in IoA (ie Orlando Informer Meetups).

I wonder if this is just a new protocol for Hagrids.

I think they close the line early if they have an estimated wait of more than 60 minutes after park closing. They don't want to keep the workers there indefinitely.
