how many points do you have for an add on at animal kingdom to get conceige level and for savanaha view for a 6 day trip. can you get conceige level without owning animal kingdom? has anyone actually got conceige level without owning at animal kingdom? how about savanaha view, hard to get?

Since there are only five two bedroom lockoffs on the Concierge level at AKV, they go rather quickly and you will probably need to be a member at AKV to be able to get that reservation. Anywhere from 13 to 122 points a night depending on the size villa, day of the reservation and season booked.

We only own 69 AKV points. We stayed concierge level in March, but I don't expect to get to do that very often given the small number of units available in that catagory. They are going to be VERY high demand, and even a call to MS at 9 AM EXACTLY 11 months out is going to be difficult for concierge level. We purchased 69 points because we figured on the amount of points needed for a 2 bedroom Savanna view in Adventure season would be our normal desire. I took the number of points needed for that reservation and divided it by 3 to get a trip there every 3rd year with banking and borrowing.

We own 140 AKV points and will usually get savannah view accomodations. The exceptions would be if/when I want an AKV "fix" for a weekend stay before another, longer other resort WDW stay. Then I will book value because of the lower point requirement. Also, I did book a 3 night Concierge studio for next March by calling at 9 AM day by day.

Please pardon my ignorance but what's so special about concierge level? What does it offer if I might ask that the rest of the resort doesn't?

Thanks!

Haven't done it but so far from reading here I think you get someone to make ADRs, tour reservations for you, daily mousekeeping, turn down service at night, food and beverages in a special lounge and the ability to book special safaris.

The biggest draw for us in concierge was the ability to book the sunrise and sunset safaris. Turn down service didn't mean a thing to us since we actually only got it one night anyway, and the daily mousekeeping was nice, but I prefer not having that also. We also REALLY liked the food offerings in the lounge. DH thought that was the best!

are these other sizes besides 2 bedroom on concierge level.
Those five 2BRs are all lockoffs so they can be rented as a 2BR or they can be "locked off" and rented as a 1BR and a studio. I believe most of them are rented as 1BRs and studios so there would be either just one or at most two 2BRs, and at least three and possibly four 1BRs and studios.
