We went to Mk this morning and it was alot more crowded than it has been all week but it is the weekend.

The bad thing was BTMRR, Goofy Barnstormer and the TTA was not running.

So we FP BTMRR and then rode Haunted Mansion, it was a walk on, Small World, walk on and then FP Peter Pan, Played in Poohs playground, rode the carousel and it was a walk on. Then went to Buzz and it was walk on, DH took DS4 on the teacups and i hung around tomorrowland to see if Push was coming out and we never saw him. Then ate lunch at Cosmic Rays. Still no Push. Used Peter Pan FP, BTMRR FP, and then rode Pirates and came back for a break.

Even though it was more croweded the wait times were not to bad. But it was much much hotter today.

Going to Ohana's for dinner in about an hour.

We check out tomorrow and then check in to Kidani. We also have Breakfast at Ohana's in the morning, never done it. We don't plan on going to the parks. I think we might go play mini golf. My parents fly in tomorrow and we will have dinner at T-REX, 1st time there also.

I thought i might try to do a live trip report, I love to read them when it is almost time for me to go to the world.

We arrived yesterday and checked in at about 3:00 and the room was ready. Not to far from the lobby. It is a studio SV. A bit small for the 4 of us.

This is are 1st time staying at AKV since we bought into DVC 2 years ago. We have stayed at SS and HH.

On this trip we have me(30), DH(26), DS(4), DS(1) and then on Saturday we move over to Kidani for 6 nights when my parents join us and we will be in a
2BR, plus my DSis who lives in Orlando will join us off and on thru the trip.

I just returned yesterday from WDW and some of it at AKV Jambo. Have some butternut squash soup at Mara for me. Although it's called butternut squash, it tastes like pumpkin-by the end of my time there, I almost turned into a round pumpkin from all that soup! And if you have time, go over to the Kidani pool on Monday, Wednesday, or Friday night to see the movie. Lots of fun, a nice, relaxing way to spend an evening.

Dinner at Ohana's was great. We love that place. After dinner we went to the Contemporary's arcade, I think it is the best resort arcade, we had a blast. Came back early to pack everything up for the move.

Back to Ohana's tomorrow morning with Lilo and Stitch.

No parks planned for tomorrow but I think it is suppose to be hot.

We checked in to Kidani before breakfast yesterday and the room wasn't ready until 3:00

We had breakfast at Ohana's. The food was great but the service wasn't, the first time we have had bad service.

Then DS4 wanted to ride the monorail so we rode to Epcot and back.

Then we went to play mini golf at wintersummerland

Then we went back to Jambo house and had lunch at Mara, after that we hung out at Kidani to wait for my parents and see if the room was ready, we had to wait about an hour before it was ready and my parents showed up right after that, so it was perfect timing

After that my Dsis and her BF showed up and we all went to DD to eat at T-Rex. Now we eat at RF all the time but I thought this one was much louder. The food was about the same, not great but not bad.
DD was a madhouse so we didn't stay long

Today we slept in and are going to DD for lunch at the RF, my DS4 has to eat at the volcano restaurant and get the volcano dessert. We are taking easy for the most part because we are going to the halloween party tonight.

The kids are wearing costumes but the adults are not. DS4 is going to be Mario and DS1 is going to be Wicket the Ewok.

Sounds like you guys are having a great time, good for you! Your kids are very cute. We are going to be at Jambo in March. There will be 15 of us 3 familys of 5, any tips? Keep up the good work your trip TR is great.

Sunday we went to the RF and it was great. We really like it there and I think it is better than T-Rex. We also got a volcano and we ate it in a matter of mintues.

Sunday evening we went to the halloween party, and i forgot my camera, but my DM and Dsis had theres and got pictures. DS(1) was so cute and DS(4) as cool. We Loved this party and rode so many rides with no wait and got tons of candy. and watched the 10:30 parade and left after 11:00 didn't get back to the room until midnight, it was a long day, but we had so much fun. I will definetly do this party again.

We are at Kidani right now also. We did the Wishes desert party last night- it was ok, probably wouldn't do it again. We are doing the Halloween Party tonight, the boys are very excited. Doing Hollywood Studios this morning and then to the pool for relaxation this afternoon before the big night.

Monday we slept in and had breakfast at Boma at 9:30, after that we went to Epcot and look around the countries. My DS4 is collecting pressed pennies on this trip and we managed to get one from every country. He was so excited. We rode Norway and it had about a 10min wait and Mexico ride was walk on. We then used are FP for Test Track and rode SE, we left about 4:30 and had dinner reservations at Ohana's again. We love that place.

After that we came back to the hotel to going swimming.

The weather has been really hot the past couple of days, well at least hotter than when we came. But the crowds to me are not that bad, we have rode lots of rides with no wait.

We'll be at Kidani in less than a month. Your TR is getting me so excited! Glad you're having a good time. Can't wait to sit down by the pool with a cocktail and feel the warmth of the FL sun. It's mid 40s and rainy here today, I'd much rather be where you are!

We also went to Hollywood Studios in the morning and went to the pool in the afternoon. We may have saw each other. Then after that we went to Mara for dinner and came back to the hotel and played in the arcade. Made it an early evening we were kinda tired.

Today we had ate at CP for breakfast again. It was great, this is are favorite place to get breakfast with Ohana being second.

We rode alot of stuff at MK today and are now back for a much needed break, both boys are taking a nap. We are going back later, My DH and I have reservations for the dessert party, and my parents are watching the kids. I have heard mixed reviews about it, but thought I would try it.

The crowds still were not that bad, but I think today has been the hottest day, it is awful and humidity is so bad, it is like coming in august or sept.
But they are having recorded breaking temps. Yuck.

I would have to agree that today is the hottest, so far in our stay, along with higher humidity and no breeze, BUT it beats the weather where we are from (30's and rain/snow mix). We don't want to leave Friday

Not sure what channel that is that plays the old cartoon, it's playing on the tv in the lobby. The Disney Channel is #16

The busing has been just fine. It comes to Kidani first and then Jambo. So if you want to go to Magic Kingdom (and your staying at Kidani), it comes here and then goes to Jambo. When coming back here (Kidani) from a park, it goes to Kidani first, then to Jambo.

we are in room 7208, the view has been wonderful (giraffe's, zebra's, eland's, ostriches). it is 3 doors down from the arcade and laundry room. a quick 2 minute walk from the lobby. we made our reservations for next September and requested this room. i don't know what size room you want, but ours is a studio. we have 2 boys (10 & 9). We can't wait to come back no guarantee's on requests or rooms, but it never hurts to ask.
