We go to DL once a year and always surprise dd(7). We did the at the airport once, but our favorite is to throw her in the car while she is sleeping from my dad's in san diego or my sil in mission viejo (we do go on the plane and she always thinks we are just going to visit family) and we wake her up at Disneyland. She loves it. Even did it in the Summer for her b'day weekend at Aulani, she thought we were taking daddy to work

My family says we can't pull it off again, so I'm looking for some other way.

Any suggestions?

I am doing a Mickey Mouse balloon mylar balloon with helium wrapped in a box. I am putting a tag on it that says, "You're going to Disneyland! Happy Birthday!" I have a box with a lid that I am wrapping both separately to make it easy to take the ribbon off and open the box.
