Astro Orbitor...is it like Dumbo?

Can you believe it? I've never been on this ride. Is it like Dumbo?...which I can handle...or will it make me nauseous? (don't like spinning rides like Tea Cups).

Just like Dumbo, but higher, I don't do Teacups either and I was ok on it

I've only been on it once just to cross it off my list! I remember it being very similar to Dumbo. Maybe a bit higher and faster though?

Nope. Not like Dumbo. I mean, yes, the ride vehicles elevate and go in circles.

However, Dumbo is a 1/10 in thrills. I am no ride chicken, at all, but I was terrified on Astro Orbiter, LOL. Maybe it was because it was nighttime? But, it was fast and the centrifugal force made me lose my balance.

That is the one ride I will NOT do again. The only time we rode it my girls were 5 and 15 months. I had to hold the baby on my lap w/no belt. I felt like she was going to fly out the entire time.
Now that they're older I'm sure it would be fine but I was so traumatized I don't even want to try!

I also think it's faster than Dumbo. I love it, but can see someone being put off by it.

I think it's better than Dumbo. You're up higher which adds a bit of thrill and it seems to go faster. I could never do the teacups but I did not get dizzy on this ride. The view is kind of nice. The reason I don't ride Astro more is the wait seems to go so slow with that elevator. I don't know if it does, but it just seems that way.

Never again I went twice thinking I over reacted the first time both times I tho i was going to fall out of the vehicle the entire time

It's only similar to dumbo in the since you're going in a circle.

Astro orbiter is obviously a lot higher, but it also spins faster, the space you spin in is smaller than the wideness of dumbo, and you tilt in.

Dumbo is a 1/10 in thrill. I'd put Astro at 2.5/10. It's not bad, but it's definitely "more intense" than dumbo.

Don't be surprised if you get off and your dizzy

In a word ...yes. It is pretty cool to ride it at night when tomorrow land and the rest of MK is all lit up.

Dumbo doesn't bother me. Astro Orbitor makes me queasy. It's a lot fast than Dumbo.
