Is Astro Orbiter much faster that similar(ish)!rides like Dumbo and Magic Carpets? I've heard people say it makes them feel queasy. I don't mind heights, it's the fast spinning that gets me every time.

Thanks in advance.

I love Dumbo & Magic Carpets. I am terrified to even try Astro Orbiter.

It feels twice as fast as Dumbo and Aladdin. It also leans slightly inside. If the spinning gets you, I'd definitely skip.

Its a tight squeeze for sure. I haven't noticed it being faster except for some reason when it brings you back down. For some reason that seemed the fastest which is awesome!

Seems faster to me! It also feels like I am going to fly right out of the ride and go sailing across Tomorrowland. It's not my favorite ride! :)

Never noticed the speed but that angle is the worst - I'm always terrified of falling out even though I know it's not gonna happen!

You can try to "spot" something ( a building or something in the distance) as you go around. ( like dancers that choose something to look at when spinning in circles). I get motion sickness, but didn't experience it on this ride while spotting. It is very low to climb into and get out of! It was a challenge when my husband and I easily climbed in and couldn't get out. We were laughing our butts off. It seemed a little faster than the Dumbo ride. Enjoy! We can't wait to try it at night.

That's the biggest difference in Orbiter and ALL the other "spoke and wheel" rides at WDW.:)

It is faster. Makes me queasy and it is difficult to get out of. The ride at night is fantastic. Especially if you can time it with Wishes. It is a great experience.

Angle, seat, and speed was bad, Did it once and that was enough. Goes too fast to really see the park.
