I'm stealing the title of Frank's thread from last month....we leave for the Fort in 4 hours! I'm still at the office, but leave here soon to go home and load up the family.

I'll try to post now and then while at the Fort, but to be honest I'm not sure how much i will turn the computer on. I sit in front of this thing 10 hours a day working, and am looking forward to almost 2 weeks away from it! I promise a TR when it's all said and done though, and will hopefully get online a little bit during the trip to check in on all of you crazies!

Also, I hope to catch up with any DISers at the Fort now! Here we come!!

Sorry Frank, but you and Bob are OUT! Dave and I sat out in the cold rain waiting on a pick up last month but yun's never showed up. It will be a long time before we get over that. Just kiddin' of course.

Dave, there's no doubt that you and your family will have a great time! I don't blame you for not wanting to be on the computer much while at the Fort, so we'll be patiently waiting on pics and a TR shortly after you return home!!! (None of us will complain though if you do happen to give us a few updates while there.)

Well, not sure if this will post as am doing it on the blackberry. Just wanted to let you all know we got here this evening, a day early! I called disney from I-75 this afternoon as we were making great time, and they were able to get us a site tonite! We didn't get our usual 500 loop, but we are in our second choice....700! And you know what? We love it! We are in 729, which backs up to the old train bed. Very private, and we are a short stroll to the Settlement area. So far so good! I will be putting out our decorations tomorrow if anyone wants to stop by.

Sorry for the lack of updates! We've been on the go all weekend doing parks, and eating and drinking a bit. Late nights, early mornings...you know the drill.

I will say we are having a great trip so far. Weather has turned out real nice, I got to try the slide at the pool, done some biking and hit all parks so far except epcot.

We are doing the Wishes dessert party tonight...I've been looking forward to that! But today, I get to diagnose a hot water heater issue. They're not supposed to leak water all over the pavement, right? I didn't think so.

Well, I will try to keep you updated a little better. Later...

Sorry Dave,, it's a water heater,,,which turns your water hot.
Think of it this way,,you don't put a pot of hot water on the stove to make it hot,,,


just say , "the heck with it" and go fish'n instead.

I scoped out my heater issue and it was just a bad drain plug. Ran to camping world for a new one and am back in business. That was easy! It didn't seem like the plug at first based on where the water was dripping from, but water can travel long distances.

We did the Wishes dessert buffet last night. That was very nice. Desserts are one of my weaknesses, so it was right up my alley. We got a great table with a front row view too. Learned some interesting things about Wishes which I can go into in my post-trip report when we get home next week.

We did Chef Mickeys this morning, and plan on staying put at the Fort the rest of the day today. I rented a GC for one day to do some looping tonight...I hope the rain holds off. Hope to see some Fiends out tonight!
