well, due to the stomach flu we will not be arriving on time, or staying at SoG as intended. Our trip is now April 16th-21st at ASMu the moderate resorts had no FL res rates left, but I was able to get one at ASMu. If anyone would like to meet up please pm me!!! I would also love to hear feedback on this resort, this is our first value stay!

TIA

As you can see by my sig, I've stayed there quite often and always had a great stay. Stayed at both Jazz and Broadway - Jazz is closest to the food court w/out being preferred and I think Broadway (just beyond Jazz) has the best themeing. If you have a car, Broadway is close to the parking lot and the piano (quiet) pool.

I usually also request 3rd floor, that way there's nobody above you.

Enjoy your stay!!!! :teeth:

Thanks! At least that is reassuring. Every mod but POR was booked for those dates and POR only had king beds at $194 a night *swoon* so ASMu was the next best option! I'm looking forward to a change of pace!

Any tips on food court/room locations/bus stops would be appreciated!

I tried to make simular ressies for June with the same result. All of the mods are full and the deluxes are just a little too rich for my blood right now. So ASMu it is. Most of the reviews I have read say it is nice.

We love AllStarMu. Stayed in Jazz bldg, third floor on the backside of the bldg. away from the pool. It was a quick walk to the food court and the bus stop. One bus stop, in the front of the main bldg, just past the gift shop/food court area.

I tried, also, to add an extra night to my 2 night end of vacation stay at POR, but it was booked solid.

Thanks again! We are not used to value resorts, so were very skeptical, but for the price it's about the only place on property I can afford right now! ($194 a night no discounts or codes available for that time period for a king room at POR) Hopefully I willlove it so in the future we can save some extra $ on future trips!

My family stayed at music over Christmas break. We did not request a room and checked in at 11am on Christmas morning. We were given Country leftside which is the last building. At first I was upset being so far away from the main hall but it worked out great. The parking lot was close by,we had a woods view and were on the first floor. On our last morning we walked out and found a playful raccoon in our woods. My three year old couldnt believe that Meeko was there to say good-bye to her,I took her to the Pocahontas show the day before. That was truely a magical moment for us and we took lots of pictures for her! I ended up enjoying the walk from the bus to our room and taking in all the whimsical sights. I love the All Star Resorts, they are truely Disney to me!!!!! :earsboy: :earsgirl: :earsboy: :earsgirl: :earsgirl: :earsgirl:

Family and I stayed at the music for my spring break in 2002. My mom thought that I'd enjoy the themeing as I'm a music major. At first I was secpitcal. I wanted to go on break to forget school for a little bit, not have a glaring reminder of my music theory project due two weeks after I got back. I was pleasntly surprised. We stayed at one of the Jazz Inn's and I loved it!! We were on the 2nd or 3rd floor, and it was great. Just far enough to be away from most of the noise, but close enough to be conveniant. I would advise agianst a "perfered" room. The pool area can be quite nosiy. I loved the resort. The service was really good. My brother got sick on our 2nd to last day there, and the maid service kept checking in on with throughout the day, even brought him some juice from the food court. The food was good, even though we only ate there for breakfast's. Some say the themeing is too loud and tacky. I for one like the over the top-ness that only Disney can do. I hope you enjoy your trip.

I agree with travelin' tigger. We stayed in the Broadway section. It was very convenient to the parking lot. Also, it was very quiet (which surprised me since it was Thanksgiving week). We had stayed at AS Sports before but not Music. I would stay there again (especially if we could get $49 a night!) Bus service was good also. Enjoy!
