Visitor Toll Pass vs EZ Pass

Interesting dilemma caused by the weather nationally. My flight out of MCO monday morning was cancelled. After some back and forth, AA managed to get me on a flight leaving early monday from Daytona. As such, I wasn't able to return my hangtag. I'm debating whether it's even worthwhile to see how much it will cost to ship it back or if I just pay the $10 fee. Small potatoes in the long game as I saved about that with the half price tolls and not having to pay any to get back to MCO.
I wonder if TPTB plan on putting the VTP in other Florida airports. Maybe smaller numbers, but could come in handy.

Just wanted to report back that we decided to just take our ezpass. Not that getting the tag would be hard at all, just figured this would be easier. Was quick to put in the plate info, and you can indeed put an end date for a rental (someone mentioned that and it was a nice feature). We did go in and manually remove it when we dropped off the car just to be safe.

We just returned the car yesterday, so hoping there will be no issues with a charge through Alamo since we used ezpass and not their toll system. Even if there is hopefully it’s a quick fix as we can document that our ezpass was used.
