ASMu quiet, preferred room

I have booked a preferred room at ASMu and I know Calypso is preferred. I am somewhat concerned with the noise of the pool music. I understand that it can be heard in the rooms during the day. How late does the music play? How early does it start? Should I call-again-and request a specific room, or, as usual, trust the Disney Check-in gods?

I also have ASMU preffered and I requested a room not facing the pool because I was concerned about noise. I stayed at Pop in a preferred room facing the pool a few years ago and I could hear the people swiming until midnight. I request a non pool facing room every year now and have never had a problem getting a quit room in a preffered section.

now on the side between building 9 Jazz Inn and 10 Calypso looks like a good place - but there is a playground here!

We had a room in Jazz building facing the playground and in the 9 days we were there....my child was the only one on the playground. It was VERY quiet. We never had problems with noise, my kids were even able to nap during the day with no issue. We requesed Jazz for our next trip because we did not want to pay for preferred and Jazz is still pretty close to everything.

Thanks. I called today and added that as a request. I was able to drop the non-smoking and add this. 1 week to go!
