ASMo vs. ASMu beds

Hello everyone....

I've heard on the boards that the ASMu resort has recently been renovated. Meaning they have new pillow top mattresses. I wish I'd known that before I booked ASMo for our honeymoon/vacation. A comfy bed is REALLY important to me. What is the difference in the beds? Are the beds at movies uncomfortable/old/worn out? I have back issues and definately would prefer a newer mattress.

Also, I heard that ASMusic shows Disney movies by the pool. Is this on a big screen or something? Do they turn the lights down? Do all the kids watch from the pool?? Is that not offered at ASmusic? I love to watch movies outside and this sound like so much fun to me and I hope we have easy access to it!

Finally, I'm wondering if I should attempt to change our room to ASMusic. I'm sure it would be difficult at this late date...... ..

Are the new beds pillow top? That would be a big plus! In fact, that alone would be enough to make me switch!

I hope someone who knows for sure posts. If they are, I would definitley try and switch.

I wish I could help you out some more cause I stayed there last October...but I honestly cant remember what type of beds they were. They were definetly comfy IMO. The movies are played by the pool. Its on one of those large inflatable screens. They pull up a bunch of pool chairs up...I would say you could see it from the poll as well(at least the top half of the screen).

Here are a couple of photos of the beds at All Star Music.
They are either a King sized bed or 2 full size (double beds) just like the mods.

All of the All Star Music rooms were just reburished.
They have new pillowtop mattresses on them.
Very Comfortable!

The Movies are shown on a large blow up screen which is placed by the
main enterance of the All Star Music pool.

Guests in pool and those sitting in the pool chairs and lounges along side the pool can see the movie.
In the summer the movies usally start at 9;00 PM. They start earlier during the winter months.

All Star Music is just a short walk from Movies so guests staying at All Star Movies could walk over and see the movie.

Have fun at WDW wherever you choose to stay!
