Our flight is due into Orlando International on Friday at 10.45pm. Can we pick up our own luggage from the airport and take it to the Magical Express bus ourselves (to get our luggage same night)? If we plan to do that, do we have to inform anyone in advance?

Also we have been issued with 3 luggage labels - one for each of us - if we only plan on taking 2 pieces of 'checked in' luggage, again do we have to ring Magical Express in advance - will someone be waiting for an extra case at the airport?

I believe you can do that--just don't put the yellow tags on the luggage.

I'm also pretty sure you can get your own luggage. Don't put on the luggage tags. Also, when you get to the Orlando airport, you have to go to the Welcome Desk to get your bus pass. They will ask you how many pieces of checked luggage you have. You can just tell them there that you already picked them up.

Thanks for your swift responses - helps a lot. I thought you may have a set time for getting on the bus and they ushered you on it as quick as possible. I presume there are buses coming back and forth from the Disney resorts all the time - do I need to stress if my airplane is delayed?

That is what we thought as well. There are buses all the time, though. When you get to the airport, don't feel rushed at all. Take your time, get your bags and have a great trip!!!

Arriving that late in the evening at least one member of your party should report first to the ME welcoming area (side "A" lowest level inside in line with bus space #30). Just to make sure they don't shut down for the evening without you.

The person headed for the welcoming area could take a few carryon bags with him.
