So better to start a whole new thread? I can do that, I've just been trained that it was better to ask in an already existing thread if it's a connected question.

@Dug720 is right. The CC boards are slower than the DIS, so I think a new thread is easier for people to see, especially if it’s only tangentially related to the original topic.

DIS now prompts people to post to existing threads instead of creating a new thread.

The Celebrity board over at CC is hopping. Questions are answered within minutes.

Agreed for Celebrity. But it's easy to lose a question added on in the middle of a thread - especially if it's not a super active thread.

The last time I looked, the DCL board was a bit slower.
