Ask Me Anything Game: Ask ScottishSue Anything

I was born in a place called Bishopbriggs

Bishopbriggs, gosh Sue didn't realise you were a toff:rotfl:

Reading some of your replies has really taken me back, the kelvin Hall and Helensburgh we used to go there to a really fantastic Chinese restaurant with a great view - do you happen to know the one I mean? is it still there I wonder?

do you like to read?
if so what type of books do you like?
have you a favourite author?
is there a certain type of book you won't read?

Me? a toff? Never in a million years !! I know the restaurant you mean, but I can't remember the name now at all. It had a lovely view over the Clyde.

I don't get much chance to read these days really
But when I do its usually murder or romance novels I like :rolleyes1
My favourite author would have to be Stephen King - I love his books
Unfortunately, or fortunately, I will read anything from :rolleyes1, murder, biography, etc. ....... basically anything really !!

What part of Glasgow are you from?

Well Matt, I have to join the rest of you don't I? (You know the saying.......... when in Rome do as the Romans do) :lmao:

A couple of quick ones for you, apologies if they have already been asked.

What one thing do you regret doing in your life, or, wish you done differently?

What one thing do you want to do or achieve before you die?

Who is going to win the cricket today - New Zealand or Sri Lanka?

Is there any team in the world that stands a chance against the All Blacks in the World Cup this year?

Hi Sue,
A couple of newbie questions for you:

What is this Room 101 everyone keeps asking about (I've read a couple of these ask anything threads now and it's always a question).

Here in the US we get a few british shows on BBC America. Two of my favorite shows are Coupling and Gordon Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares. What are your favorite American tv shows, if any?

No worries Matt - keep 'em coming !! (I'm actually enjoying it)

Difficult one Matt - I think I regret not doing better at school but I really enjoyed college so guess it didn't matter too much

(Ok..... you mean apart from meeting you guys ??) - I think I'd like to do a world cruise, and visit tons of interesting places - probably take a year to do it

cricket - I hate the game, sorry, it's boring, but I'll say New Zealand

Scotland of course !!.......... (but seriously, probably Australia are closest)

(You do make 'em hard, don't you) !!:confused3

Hi Kathy, we are mad but friendly really !!

Room 101 is basically somewhere you would put things that annoy or upset you (e.g. traffic wardens, income tax, bar opening hours).

I like a few of the US American shows - so that's not too hard.
I ALWAYS used to watch the Jerry Springer Show - loved all the fighting, etc, and the security guys were HOT too. I also watched "Friends" a lot too. Think Phoebe and Joey were my favs !!

Good Evening Sue!
Quiet here today isn't it?
The calm before the storm maybe?;)

Do you have stairs in your house?
Do you prefer living in the town or country?
Do you like having picnics?
How many pairs of shoes do you own?
Do you have your hair coloured regularly?
Do you visit a chiropodist?
Are you a patient person?
When was the last time you cried?
Is your hubby a romantic person?

That should keep you going for a few minutes :thumbsup2

How Random are some of these questions?
If someone asked you these daft questions to your face, would you answer them?
:rotfl:

Hi Audrey - yes, it is quiet isn't it - a bit too quiet really - I need more questions !!

Yep, we have stairs - it's a 4 bedroomed house

That depends - I wouldn't like to be too far out in the country though, that would be too quiet for me. Maybe the town for me !!

We haven't been for a picnic for years now - used to go when the kids were young - but nothing since - shame really !! :sad2:

not really that many pairs of shoes - at a guess probably around 8 - including sandals !!

Do you really want to know this? Yes, I do have my hair coloured regularly. I need to cover up the grey bits !!

Nope, did visit a chiropodist once years ago, but not for a long time now
(must have lovely feet) !!

Now this is me, definitely - I have the patience of a saint
DH despairs with me sometimes

I can't remember the last time I cried - but it was probably at a weepy film, most likely. Don't really cry that much - but I am very emotional

Sometimes Keith can be romantic. I think it depends on the mood he's in, but most of the time not particularly romantic though

I probably would answer them !! I don't think they are that bad :yay:

It's not that they're bad Sue it's just a bit weird to ask someone if they dye their hair or have stairs in their house LOL!
I can't imagine meeting someone for the first time and asking such random things about themselves. I would probably tell them to Ahem... go away or mind their own business:rotfl:

Hiya Sue :goodvibes

What's your favourite Classic Disney Movie?
What's your favourite Disney Character?

Have you ever been to Frankenstins Bar?

Some more to keep you buisy;)

Do you dance?

Have you ever danced in the rain?

Hi Kaylee !!

I don't dance so good now, but when I was younger I was in a scottish country dance team at school, and like most little girls, went to Ballet classes.

No I haven't danced in the rain.......... not that I can remember anyway !!
But it sounds good fun, don't you think ?

Hi again Audrey - I'm glad you are keeping me busy tonight !!

That has to be Snow White - I could watch it over and over again, I love it so much

I think that would have to be Tinkerbell - I love the way she flutters around

My favourite meal to cook, would be steak, mushrooms, fried onions, chips - now I'm feeling so very hungry !!

Yes I can bake - and even if I do say so myself, as I told Tony, I make a lovely rhubarb pie.

Scrapbooking I have never tried since I was a child - but so many people are into it now. Must have a look at it again, I think

No, never been to Frankensteins bar - is it in Aberdeen? I don't think I've even heard of it !! I must walk around with my eyes closed !!
