***Official February 2026 Thread***

Hi All,

We are going to WDW Feb 11 - Feb 15, one park per day. I am struggling with the itinerary as it seems it's a holiday weekend and will be pretty crowded. Any recommendations for which parks to visit each day? 🙏 This is a once every few years family trip with 3 kids, ages 4-9.

I am thinking we visit two parks on Wednesday and Thursday, take a break on Friday, and then the remaining two parks over the weekend. Which parks do you think are more manageable during high crowds (Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th)?

Thanks so much!!

Epcot is usually very busy on the weekends. I would go to Animal Kingdom on one of the weekend days. We usually avoid WDW on Saturday, so I don't have an opinion on that day. :)

We are going to be at the Contemporary Feb 3-Feb 10. 4 of the days I will be in a conference so we will be doing afternoons till park closing. It looks like it is going to be chilly....🥶, high in the 60's lows in the 40s. Too much packing...lol. It is -21 degrees at my house this morning, so I guess I better be grateful, but was hoping to get out of my longjohns...🤣. the hardest part is convincing my daughter that 6-12 hours in damp Florida in 40-60 degree weather is cold and will require hoodies and pants

I hope it isn't as cold as that for our trips. Our dates are Feb 1-5. But it really is too early for an accurate forecast.

40-60 degrees is cold in Florida. Sweatshirts usually aren't warm enough. Fleece is warm and lightweight. :)

We leave Saturday. I'm have to keep telling my family to pack jeans/long pants. This will not be shorts weather!

We are heading out Saturday (Jan 31) as well and have been watching the weather. I can't believe how cold it is going to get. We are contemplating canceling, going back and forth on which is better, to not go or to go and know we are going to freeze the first 2-3 days of a 5 day trip. 😥

The cold weather won't stop people like us, who have booked airfare already. And we're going to pack some of our warm, "Northern" clothes. But maybe enough people will cancel trips and give us low crowds at the parks. :)

I know! Our first park day is Sunday (AK - obviously to ride Dinosaur one last time!) and the HIGH is 45 degrees. It's currently 6 degrees at home with a wind chill of -9... at this point it will feel downright balmy to us. We usually leave our winter coats in the car at the airport but I'm thinking we will just bring them this time. It's a bummer but the whole reason we stopped going in Sept/Oct was because of heat and crowds. So maybe the cold weather will bring lower crowds... I can't be mad at that!
