Actually Matt there was an article in the paper yesterday, apparently Clarkson and co are not happy with the format of the show and say that if the BBC don't change it they won't do anymore! The BBC however are adamant that a special will be shown in the summer! It would be so sad if they were no more so here's hoping they can sort out their differences![]()
Thanks for that; must investigate that.

do you seriously beleive that she wouldn't find it ????![]()
is god a man or a woman?![]()
You never know she might not!!

Haven't a clue. Not fussed either way.. We should figure out if god exists BEFORE we comment on god's gender!!

Hi Son, I'm back, right I really want to learn more about you, if any of these questions offends just ignore them.
What age were you when your parents were told you had aspergers?
How was it explained to you, what age were you and how did you feel about it? or is it that its always 'been there'?
Do you think that makes you any different to everyone else and do you appreciate the fact you're special?
like I said, I really want to learn more about it, I truly don't want to upset you in any way![]()
Carol, these questions don't upset me. Your my "Mummy" you couldn't upset me..

I was diagonised with AS at age 5. The parents wondered if something was up by the odd way I acted when I was younger. Of course, at that age I was blissfully unaware of anything and kept going on as I did. But, looking back at some old tapes I had you can sorta see that something was there...
I can't remember it being formally explained to me ever; they probably have but I have forgotten! I think it was about age 10 that they informed me, and I think it was due to some form being filled out and me wanting to know what the thing was they had written down..
I am alright with it.

I have no clue how it affects me personally, but I do notice things. For instance, I may say something that is rude and not know it myself.. I also notice that it is hard for me to keep attention for things such as reading a newspaper article or continuing conversions on and on..
I also have a lot of weird habits.. For instance, whilst driving, I always open the clutch and then go into the gears, where as you are supposed to have your hand on the gearstick and THEN go to save time. It's just about how I think..
Although...... It is my fear that this is all a minor dream... Since I can't tell what's wrong (you can't notice what you've never had or can't see right?) it is so hard to tell if the thing exists! I haven't been tested since the diagonsis so I could of "grown out of it" by now, as some do.
I think that it for each thing it affects I have things I gain from it. For instance, if you ever see me in real life, I use really long words and talk kinda posh-ish (the ONLY reason why I don't do it here is that A) 1/2 of them I don't know what they mean and B) I have no clue how to spell them!), and as for weird habits, you also get good habits that others don't do, for instance, I always hold doors for people..
They say that their is a sense of obsession with AS's.. e.g. my brother used to collect shotgun shells in our wood before he found out what they were.. That might explain the pokemon and the doctor who...

Hope that helps Carol.

As mentioned the whole "No concentrate" thing is starting now so I think i'll move on!!
