Somehere in between. Cannot touch type and having gone to a boys Grammar school, typing was never a lesson option. I use most of my fingers, but am basically self taught. In fact the more I type the better I get, so at the end of the week I'll be doing 200 words a minute

Hi Sue, thanks for the compliment. Am currently replying to you from the garden where I am enjoying a cigar and a glass of red wine.

So, to the questions...
Yes many times, when I was employed the region was Wales and the West so we were always there on courses and functions - have spent a few very drunken nights at Celtic Manor. Also, when I was small my aunt and uncle had a caravan aty Haverford West so had a few hols there, and have been to Arms Park a couple of times and Cardiff a few times with Deb either shopping or on "work" do's.

Can "get by" in French.

Maths.

I left with 1 O Level in English and 4 GCSE (grades A-C) and a Maths A level grade C.

Used to love West Wing. At the moment am enjoying Big Break and also am a hige fan of This Old House. Stuff that makes me turn over or off - any soap, Emmerdale, Eastenders, Corrie etc etc

Favourite type at the moment is Rioja, but like most sorts - somewhat unsurprisingly enough

I ought to do more gardening and I do quite like it, but it is finding the time. I tend to do nothing for ages and then have a bit of a blitz at it all.

Don't like cleaning bathrooms much.

Don't really enjoy any of them! Don't mind any of them really if I am in the mood and I can listen to some music at the same time!

Favourite type of music has to be rock, albeit country runs it a close second, and am certainly "feeling" the country vibe at the moment.

The first time I saw Motley Crue, as they are my favourite band and seeing them live was such a buzz

Not any musical ones no. Used to play the flute at school though, and was in both the school and church choir - sure the voice counts as an instrument. Oh and I can play a mean triangle

I think a little, but I doubt Deb would agree. As I just said I was in some choirs and got an award called the Deans Chorister when in the church choir. Sang a couple of solo's at Gloucester Catherdral as well, but those days are a long way behind me.

Nope never in a band.

Hobbies, not really, unless the DIS, drinking and going to WDW count Am "in" to cars, but not really in a hobby sort of way.

We had a film SLR for years which we sold last year. I would have to say digital is my favourite. If you compare a film and digital SLR, I do not think there are any quality differences when you come to print (but, Vicki may tell me I am wrong!) and with digital you have all the manipulation benefits, and you can take so many more than you could with film. The versatility wins it for me everytime.

Sort of indifferent about it I have to say. Never a huge fan as a kid, and have watched very little since it was relaunched.

Didn't see your replies last week. But I would say an Astra, go for a 1.9 CDTi in Black (albeit black is a swine to clean). You could probably get an SRi spec at that sort of price. Looking for 18" alloys, leather interior possibly. For me, the best looking hatch around at the moment, unless you fancy something like a Civic - but maybe a love it/hate it style.
