Ask Me Anything: Ask Wilma-bride Anything

Morning Joh! Another few questions to start your day... ;)

Morning hun, I'm a bit groggy this morning but I'll give them a go :)

Describe your fave outfit...

At the moment it's a dress and bolero I bought for my friend's wedding in December. The dress is chocolate brown with cream spots (a bit like the one Julia Roberts wears in Pretty Woman at the races), the bolero is cream with a fur collar - I feel very grown up and girly in it :)

What's your Chinese star sign?

Apparently, I am an Ox :confused3

Do you have cushions on your sofa?

Yep, mainly for the cat to sleep on though :rotfl:

What worries you late at night?

Loads of things - I'm a born worrier. My Mother was a worrier, as was her Mother before her. It runs in our family ;) Mainly, I worry about money and my job at the moment.

Do you watch any soaps?

No, I used to watch them all religiously but haven't seen any for months now - too busy on the DIS ;)

What's the colour scheme in your bedroom?

Haven't really got one - walls are still the colour they were painted when the house was built (magnolia :confused3 ), duvet covers vary from blue to dark red, curtains are lilac - ooh, that sounds horrible doesn't it :lmao:

Is your glass half-empty or half-full?

Half empty

put in order - your top ten studmuffins?

describe your personality?

what is in you fridge ?

How many pairs of shoes do you have?

if you could travel back in time, where/when/why would you go?

if you could change an event in history, what would it be and why?

do you have any health problems? if so what?

do you tell lies?

Sorry it's taken me so long to answer - had a busy morning :)

put in order - your top ten studmuffins?

I wracked my brains but couldn't think of 10 so here are the ones I came up with:

1. Josh Holloway
2. George Clooney
3. Brian Friedman (yes, I know he's gay  )
4. Will Smith
5. Denzel Washington
6. Tom Cruise
7. The guy who plays Tom in Desperate Housewives
8. Adam Levine

That's all :confused3

describe your personality?

Outgoing, talkative, impatient, high maintenance (according to DH ;) ), loyal and hard working (if given half a chance :) )

what is in you fridge ?

Going from memory because I can't be bothered to get up and look:

Tub of 'I can't believe it's not butter'
Cheese
Cheese-strings (why do kids love those horrible things :confused3 )
Eggs
Pork fillet
Bacon
Chicken breasts
Sweet and sour chicken ready meal
Yoghurts/frubes
Carrots
Cucumber
Chocolate biscuits (for the girls' packed lunch)
A Cadburys Flake (sadly, not mine otherwise it wouldn't still be there :rotfl: )
Jam
Orange squash
Mayonnaise

How many pairs of shoes do you have?

Honestly, not that many - about 10 :confused3 (and 3 pairs of those are Crocs :rotfl: )

if you could travel back in time, where/when/why would you go?

I would love to go back to the times when women wore corsets and those big dresses with bustles (Victorian :confused3 ) - those dresses were great for covering a multitude of sins ;)

if you could change an event in history, what would it be and why?

Famous event or personal?

Famous event - I would make it so thos evil terrorists responsible for 9/11 had been caught beforehand and it had never happened

Personal - I would like for my Grandad not to have had a stroke before he died so he may have lived longer and also so I could remember him the way he was :sad1:

do you have any health problems? if so what?

I'm pretty healthy - I do suffer from IBS, although I can usually keep it under control with my diet

do you tell lies?

I'd be lying if I said I didn't ;) I don't lie about important things but there are certain times when it's better not to tell the truth. I don't lie about who or what I am.

ETA: I have just told a little white lie to Boss Hogg to save his feelings ;)

You must tell little porkers as I notice, that Kev, Tone and myself are not in your top 10 stud muffins!!:confused3

Right back to the questions then.

If you had a super power, what would it be?

Do you think the wearing of crocs should be out-lawed?:lmao:

Are you as excited as me to know that the Sosa Family Cigar company has just opened a new location at Pleasure Island next to Raglan Road?

As we all know your fave cocktail is the Skyy thingy, would this be your staple aperitif in a nice restaurant? Also, would it be your preferred digestif or would you go for something more traditional?

Have the girls started giving you a shopping list for August yet?

Right back to the questions then.

If you had a super power, what would it be?

X-ray vision :rotfl2:

Do you think the wearing of crocs should be out-lawed?:lmao:

On the contrary, I think it should be made compulsory :thumbsup2

Are you as excited as me to know that the Sosa Family Cigar company has just opened a new location at Pleasure Island next to Raglan Road?

Strangely, no

As we all know your fave cocktail is the Skyy thingy, would this be your staple aperitif in a nice restaurant? Also, would it be your preferred digestif or would you go for something more traditional?

Yes, it would probably be my preferred aperitif but would go for Limoncello or Apfelcorn as a digestif :thumbsup2

Have the girls started giving you a shopping list for August yet?

Again, strangely no - maybe it's because they are too busy making their lists for April :rotfl:

What's is the first thing you do when you get on holiday which you look forward to?

When are you "on" holiday?

When going on holiday do you think it is acceptable to drink alcohol at 8am?

Do you take your own pain killers and antacid or buy it is the US?:rotfl2:

hi Joh

have you planned every day of your holiday?

how many meals have you booked ?

what meal are you most looking forward too ?

Do you like my new image in my sig, or, should I have stuck with the SSR one?

What's is the first thing you do when you get on holiday which you look forward to?

Our first drink and meal when we get to the resort :thumbsup2

When are you "on" holiday?

The holiday usually begins when we stay at the Hilton the night before. This year, though, I think it will be the drive up from Miami that will be the 'beginning'

When going on holiday do you think it is acceptable to drink alcohol at 8am?

Yep, after all it's always 5 o'clock somewhere ;)

Do you take your own pain killers and antacid or buy it is the US?:rotfl2:

Usually take our own - rarely need them though :)

Does all this talk of drink make you thirsty, or is it just me?

Will the weather be good enough this weekend for us to have a BBQ?

Does all this talk of drink make you thirsty, or is it just me?

No, a nice cold drink would be good right now :thumbsup2

Will the weather be good enough this weekend for us to have a BBQ?

Given that it's Glastonbury this weekend and the rules governing the weather Glastonbury weekend are similar to those governing Bank Holiday weekends, I fear not :sad2:

Do you drink on the plane? If so, what?

Is Gary a bit of a clothes horse, or is he not bothered about clothes?

How many clothes do you take on holiday?

Do you maximise your alcohol allowance coming home, if not, can I have it?:rotfl2:

Do you drink on the plane? If so, what?

No, I don't usually drink on the plane - other than the normal diet coke intake (hate Virgin diet cola though :sad2: )

Is Gary a bit of a clothes horse, or is he not bothered about clothes?

Matt, you've met him - need you even ask :lmao:

How many clothes do you take on holiday?

Usually waaayyyyy more than I need or would have time to wear ;)

Do you maximise your alcohol allowance coming home, if not, can I have it?:rotfl2:

:rotfl2: It depends if anyone has asked us to bring anything back for them - I will be bringing my Skyy Vodka home this year but if we've any allowance left, you're welcome to it :thumbsup2

Are we the only ones on the DIS?

Cocktails, on the rocks or straight up?

Green or black olives?

Ever tried a Vodka Martini, did you like it?

BTW I think Gary always looks smart!
