ASian lady beetles...!

Anywhere else besides Minnesota having an invasion of these this year? They are EVERYWHERE. Now that fall has arrived, they have moved inside, and they bite, stink and stain everything! At the new house, there are millions up in those big gable end windows! We tried vacuuming them, and the stench is unbearable! you definately don't want to squish them on anything, because the stain does NOT come out!

Are these the same as what we call lady bugs?

I have noticed a lot of them this year, just like last year. They seem to be trying to get in the house. I noticed they were all over the outside of the windows.

Yes we have them!!! My brother had to borrow our wet vac the other day to suck out thousands of those biting "ladybugs" from his camper!!

At the new house, there were millions in the west gable window glass, and it smelled so bad in there I nearly gaged! I hope the sun fries them a little, so we don't have to figure out how to get up there to vacuum them! The workers leave the doors open all day, and the lady beetles move in!

We've had a smallish invasion of them....but I didn't know they weren't common lady bugs OR that they *gulp* BITE!!!

has been invaded! They are everywhere, and my DS6 does not want to leave the house! We ruined one vacume cleaner last year and will do it again to keep them out this year!

NW Indiana has them also! If you use your vacuum empty the bag after every use or the smell is horrible. And yes they do bite and leave welts. My DD had one in her clothes last weekend and didn't know it. It left itchy welts all over her back.

Well, I am from Minnesota too but boy do I know what you mean!!!! They are awful & yes they BITE!!!!!!

They are different from the everyday ladybug, although they look very similar.

Drives me nuts when I go out to get the mail & I have tons of them flying around near my face! Yuck

Mid Michigan has been invaded but these little bugs. They sting and they make a mess and they are <i>everywhere</i>. I don't remember seeing so many of them in years past.
