First, happy double digits!

Glad the first fitting went well! That is great that the alterations didn't cost very much. My mom was commenting the other day on how surprised she was that my dress alterations were about the same price as yours. I had been concerned because I paid over $80 to have a bridesmaid dress altered two years ago But I did have to have it taken out and the woman at Carolyn Allen's did a fabulous job, still $80 for alterations on an Alfred Angelo BM dress is a bit much lol

Oh and no worries about inviting people to the shower and not the wedding. Jackie held my shower at her house and invited a bunch of MKGR girls who didn't come to our wedding. It was just nice to hang out with all of them before the big day.

Thank you for the happy double digits! I'm getting excited for sure. I was so scared when I read online comments about DB and one of my bridesmaids had a real tough time in Arizona getting her dress. She ordered a two and they were like "oh i thought for sure you'd get the four, are you sure you don't wan the four..." i Called and told them a thing or two in manners though. lol

I'm so excited for the shower i'm glad i'm having it. I think i would have been really sad later if i hadn't Hope you are doing well!

3 MONTHS TO GO!​

I cannot believe I am going to be married three months from today! Time is going by so quickly. I was just telling Alex that time is really going to start flying because now we are in the same time frame as any of our other Disney trips. I honestly cannot wait! And we have so many exciting things headed our way!

July 23rd-25th: Bachelor and Bachelorette Weekends
Alex is going to Alabama to spend a weekend at the Lake with his guys and a group of my sorority sisters are coming to Chicago. This is technically the first of two bachelorette days for me because i am having another one two days before the wedding with my bridesmaids only.

August 3rd-5th: Trip home to STL
I am going home for my Maid of Honor's birthday and also to have her help me with some program building and such

August 11th: Second fitting at DB
Hopefully I can postpone this another week because I want the dress done as close to the shower as possible

September 10th-12th: Shower in STL
We are also bringing everything wedding home at this point, so my parents can take it to Florida for us!

September 29th: Alex's birthday and LION KING
He has always wanted to see Lion King which is a fantastic show, and it opens in Chicago the night of his birthday!

October 6th: Leave for Florida!

So I have a feeling time is going to pass by VERY quickly starting now.

As promised here are the shoes! But let me explain the story first.

So I needed something that was pretty flat because Alex is only about two inches taller than me. And deep down, I gotta admit, Cinderella style shoes seemed pretty cool.

I found these at Macy's ON SALE for 21.50 and feel in love with them. They were everything I wanted except, they don't make them in half sizes. I wear a size 7 and 1/2 normally but can wear a seven or eight depending on the shoe. Well the 8 was way too big and the seven felt snug but okay. So I went with the seven. While staning for my fitting I realized just how snug they were. So now I am going to try my best in a few weeks to break them in around the house. If I can't before the 2nd dress fitting then the search will sadly be on again.

They look amazing with my dress, i really hope I can make them fit. And I really love the way they look exactly like glass slippers but still have the sandal feel i wanted

I can't believe it is actually time for my Bachelorette Party!

Technically this is party 1 of 2. Since my four bridesmaids live in four different states I wanted to be sure that we had a day that we could share together. So we will be celebrating in Epcot two days prior to the wedding.

This party will be two of my bridesmaids and a few of my DZ sorority sisters! I'm so excited because I haven't seen a few of them in years! We will be out and about all over the city and I simply cannot wait!

On another note the to-do list for the wedding! I cannot believe we only have a few months to go! Alex and I divided it up by month to gain a better perspective on what needed to be done and when:

August:

2nd Wedding dress fitting
Wedding favor boxes
Alex's wedding ring, purchase
Wedding Program research

September:

Bridal Shower: Sept 11th
Programs
Welcome bags
Deliver dress to St. Louis for car ride to Orlando

October:

Pack and go!

There's probably a ton more to do's but those are the biggies!

Not sure how I missed this but Im hooked now! The pair of you are just adorable! I love everything so far and cant wait to see more. Your dress is just gorgeous and I love yall's ToT story, such a good one for kids/grandkids!! Not sure if youve found your bridesmaid around the world shirts yet or if you were making them, but I ran across some on etsy that were for girls, i want to say they were red, but it dont remember for sure . Coffee has become a necessity!

I slept in but honestly I am drained lol! I had such an amazing weekend. My sorority sisters came into town on Thursday and from there it was pratcially non-stop perfection!

Touring round Chicago (the bean) One of my sorority sisters demanded we take an S-Club 7 picture and boy am I glad she did, it has since become the picture of the weekend for all of us.

Saturday began with a visit to the Nail salon! We got the entire place to ourselves and had a BLAST! This is where the surprised me with all the bachelorette party goodies!

We then went to dinner at a place called Carinvale which was FANTASTIC!

Then it was off to the clubs....they gave me tickets to give out for violations which was hysterical... I got sang you've lost that loving feeling about twenty times and got quite a few shots for the fines it was great

Although I am tired and recouping I can't complain because it really was such a great time.

No problem, a sorority is a group/organization on a college campus and they are named in greek letters. SO you have things like Kappa Sigma, Theta Chi, ATO (my darling Hubby to be), Delta Zeta, gamma, etc....

Our sorority had 80 girls in it and we did everything together throughout college so they were the ones that organized this weekend for me I have met some of my lifelong friends through that organization

I completely forgot to post this!

A few weeks ago I spent some money at the Victoria Secret Semi Annual Sale....obviously I'm not going to post everything I bought for the honeymoon but there was one thing I did want to share

I love their swimsuits but some of them tend to be pricey, although they do last a long time so I'm not saying anything bad about them at all

Earlier in the season I had seen this swimsuit and fell in love with it and I didnt think for a second it would be a part of the sale let alone be left un-bought in my size. I walked in, saw it hanging on the rack, and freaked out

We're going to be using the restaurant, which I haven't seen too many brides do, so I'm getting a little nervous! I love the bathing suit you bought!!! I love anything from Victoria's Secret, and this bridal bathing suit is the cutest thing ever!
