Tomorrow is the seven day mark! I thought I would post our schedule and ALEX finally got his ring!

Wednesday:

Leave for Orlando!
Check in to our hotel
Hoopdie Doo Review- we are taking his parents for their thank you gift

Thursday:

Marriage License at the courthouse
Possible park hopping if we have time
Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party

*this is the day where most of our guests start arriving

Friday:

EPCOT with the girls and drinking around the world
Pool Welcome Party

Saturday:

Nails with the girls
RELAX and catch up on sleep (if I can)
Rehersal and Dinner

Sunday:

WEDDING DAY
Reception ends at four
Possible Magic Kingdom extra magic hours depending on how we feel

Monday:

Park hopping in bride and groom ears to celebrate!
Leave for home

Following Saturday-head back to Miami for our Caribbean Honeymoon!

And finally the rings! We had such a bad experience with Alex's ring but thankfully it all worked out. So no need to vent about it now

OH my gosh! YES! We did get it at Jareds! You know what I will post the mini rant I want to read yours when you post it too how crazy that we had similiar experiences

My ring experience was so fantastic there! The lady that sold us my ring was so attentive and honestly I felt so special. She really worked with us to make sure that Alex knew the exact style I liked and which ones I absolutely did not.

We came back to the same store because we loved our experience and thought nothing could really go wrong...WRONG....the lady that greeted us was a little rude to begin with but when she found out that we were there for Alex's ring she pretty much started racing us to the check out line

She asked us when the date was and we replied 10.10.10 she then turned an about face and was like you waited until NOW!

Now I admit, we waited but honestly it was because we didn't think it would take long at all for a guys ring when mine took two days to build and size down about 8 sizes. We aren't jewelry people after all. She then sized his finger and was like you have really tiny fingers....yikes



This is where I started not being a nice person anymore, she had now yelled at us for waiting and insulted my future hubby to-be's hands

She told us that we could forget about pretty much every ring they had minus five which she showed us a few that were in our price range...which all looked like they had been bought at universal studios lol...

I informed her that I was very upset at how she was treating us and that I wanted my fiance to be happy with a ring that symbolizes our marriage and she calmed down a bit

We ended up choosing a ring three times our price range just so it wouldn't look dinky but I did call a manager and let him know exactly how i felt my hubby to be had been treated

He greeted Alex when he picked up the ring and had a personal chat with him discussing the ring to make sure he was happy

I was happy that Alex was happy but sheesh took awhile to get there which is slightly upsetting...

I can't believe it either! I'm seriously so excited. I just wish Wednesday would get here already so i could go! Thanks for the weather update we've been hearing good things and keeping our fingers crossed!

You are so sweet thank you! I definitely can't believe it! We leave tomorrow! It feels like its taken a while to get here but then suddenly in August time started to speed up lol its been crazy. I will definitely post the report as soon as I can, definitely before the honeymoon. I actually am bringing my computer on the trip so depending on how internet works there I might be able to post updates as I go but we'll see

Oh my gosh I cannot believe I am getting married in 5 days! It's really so surreal! So I finished Alex's vows today. We are still saying our traditional vows during the ceremony but we are going to exchange vows prior to the ceremony through my MOH and his best man (no peeking at each other after all) but this way we can do personal stuff without sharing it with the whole world PLUS I think there is something so romantic about saying the words that people have said throughout time during the ceremony so I didn't want to change that

Anyhoo, I wanted to keep with the storybook theme so I designed the vows this way

I used Caligraphy Parchment paper, wet it with tea bags and dryed it with a hairdryer and then lit a match to it a few times lol (that part was fun )

I think Alex will really like them and it will present well at least

For now its off to my last shift before the wedding and then a little more packing but pretty much we are set to go!

Thank you! Yeah i've always thought it was kind of awkward as a guest listening in on people's private sentiments but honestly whatever works is great

I think it will be crazy romantic to read Alex's vows to me and then go off to meet him down the aisle definitely sets the mood

I don't think you'd told me yet, but thanks! I wasn't sure if we should have Mickey & Minnie come but we got so many great pics with them! And that one is one of my favorites.

I love how you did the paper for the vows, and I totally agree, I really like the traditional vows, maybe I just watch too much tv, but it just seems like a wedding to me that way. I think it's very sweet that you have private ones for each other.
