Ashford

Hoping someone can help me here - we were going to drive down to Ashford, park and get Eurostar but I've been looking at train tickets and it's just about as cost effective to travel to Ashford the night before, stay in Travelodge or Premier Inn and go the next day and do the same on the way home.

However - how much would a taxi from Ashford station to the Travelodge/Premier Inn cost? I know they are v. near to each other. Or is there a bus?

Looking at other contributions to the thread I'd say you'll need to get a taxi but it will probably cost you under £10. Hope that helps.

We stayed at the Premier Inn Eureka Park and i can confirm the taxi to Ashford station cost just over £7. I can recommend staying there

On our March trip it cost £8 but it was before 7am so costs more as there's a surcharge then. It's usually about £5 each way. That's from the Ashford Central Premier Inn by the way! Lovely hotel and we managed to get a £29 room in March and for 1 of the nights in October. They'll also let you leave your car free of charge.

I'm also pretty sure it won't cost you more then £10. It cost me around £8 last time.

i recently booked the eurostar package at the holiday inn central which cost £90 which included breakfast, parking your car at the hotel for 5 days and taxi to and from the eurostar. the meals were expensive there so we walked accross the road and went to the Harvester, much much cheaper.
