The dinners are so expensive! If I do get FD it will only be QS and I don't want to upgrade to the regular DP just to have TS credits. Why do the dinners have to be so expensive? I don't want to leave the parks for lunch. There's not much I would really eat at these restaurants either. I'll just make dining reservations at MK since I'll be spending most of my time there. Any suggestions or should I not bother with making any ADRs and just do BoG?

I am going to place my grocery order tonight and tomorrow I will reserve mom's ECV. Tonight while I give myself a peel I will do some more packing. It is really sinking in that we are leaving in under 4 weeks!

It is only $10 a day or so to upgrade to DDP well worth it if you want to eat 1 or 2 TS

I will have to think about it. I will go through the menus more after work and see if it's worth it because there didn't seem to be a lot that I really liked when I was skimming through some of them.

My 9 year old son cracked heads with another boy jumping into the pool this evening and is now in the ER with DH. He has a broken nose and possibly further facial injury.

Any positive thoughts sent this way would be much appreciated.

BAD NEWS for my trip looks like the GF guests will be having a pool refurb according to tikiman and allowed to use our pool at the POLY so our little pool will be even more crowded! I hope I get to enjoy some time without feeling like a salmon swimming upstream!

The more I read, the more it looks like our week is going to be ultra busy! Every where I turn, it seems someone will be there last week of Sept into the first week of Oct! I guess free dining is really bringing in the business!

The Poly was at full capacity when I was there that same time last September and you couldn't even tell. It really wasn't bad. I doubt many folks will make the trek over. It seemed most folks used the courtyard pool at the Grand anyway. That pool was always PACKED!

JC...as of now, we're going Mar. 22-26, 2014...Fort Wilderness Cabins (I think...) Who knows what will happen by then...need to get a room discount since hubby says I'm on a budget....no club level. You're so smart to make us a cheat sheet!!! I love it!!!!

Prices have for sure gone up, priced out our May trip this morning briefly, looks to be about $300 more for 7 nights, 8 days. But I will keep playing around with it this morning. Other options for us are POR, Cabins, 2 rooms LM, family suites. We will see.....also I tried pricing out for December and it won't give me any info, says no availability. Too far ahead I suppose.

Don't ya hate budgets I would like to try POR/POFQ but I'm thinking with 5 people we would be really crowded. FW cabins are great since the bedroom is a separate space...so much to do there, too. AoA does interest me, however I'm scared that if we are just hanging out at the resort for the day, we'll get bored. Who knows!!!??

I was just playing around with the renting points thing from David's, and it looks like we could get a 1 bedroom value? villa for not too much more then rack rates at POR for that time. Then I youtubed a video of the 1 bedroom there....hmmmm not bad!!

Sorry, at AKL... value 1 bedroom villa (not sure if it is at jambo or kidani) It says on David's Vacation rental that most sleep 5 people. Looks like it would be 167 points for 7 nights, 8 days. Does that not sound right?.
