Hello from the lovely Jersey shore! I am SO relaxed down here. I'm getting the best sleep of my life. I'm not as impatient with Daniel. I can actually just sit and relax. I am so not looking forward to going home tomorrow.

I know isn't it great to just sit and relax listening to the waves! Have fun and enjoy your kiddos .... you deserve it!

jennyjinx3, we don't have a very specific itinerary for September. We will arrive after lunch on Monday 9/17. We have some dinner ADR's but nothing else. Now that it's only adults on the trip, and we go several times a year, we just play it by ear and decide on the next day's plan the evening before! Definitely different than when the kids were young. So let me know your itinerary and I can find you!!!

We are there 12-21 but from the 17th on
17 - MK day, BBB, and dinner CRT, wishes from either mK or Poly beach
18 - AK, resort time, MNSSHP
19 - Epcot, dinner Teppan Edo, Illuminations (hopefully!)
20 - HS, dinner 50's PT, wishes from Poly beach for our last night
21 - go home....

So maybe? Maybe we can make contact!

On a side note, we were watching our Disney movies from last Sept today and all three DD's ended up crying! They were all hugging me saying how much they miss Disney....aww....poor little mites! If they only knew...ha ha! I am so evil! Hope everyone had a happy Tuesday!

Just checking in!! So I guess I've been hitting reply-all to Jeanette's texts, so sorry for the weird messages, lol--technology can be a bit much for me sometimes I've been crazy busy in the past 2 weeks. Lots of changes at my part-time (soon to be full time), wrapping things up at my full time (last day is tomorrow), and planning my June 21st trip. I am staying at Mystic Dunes--paid in full--good deal on a rental car with GPS and toll pass. I think I did pretty good. Flight with upgraded Economy Comfort (new at Delta), Mid Size Rental with GPS/Toll Pass, 5 nights Mystic Dunes with full kitchen, jacuzzi tub, washer dryer = Grand Total: $992

I haven't been around, but I definately want to work on my TR next week. I can't believe I let it fall so far behind.

I still can't believe I'm going in June That's something I swore I'd never do, but if we're going to live there, I better get used to it! We still have kept it quiet with our friends and family here--we're not ready to drop it on them till our plans are set in stone. I have 14 apartments to visit, and 4 shopping malls that I could transfer to. I will probably go to the parks or DD to eat each night with my TIW card. I may stay in and cook one night--but who knows. It's probably just as expensive to buy groceries, as it is to drive over to Wolfgang Puck Express, or to Columbia Harbour House.

Well I was just missin' everyone and wanted to say hi!! Hope everyone is doing well and having fun planning!!

Wow! Sounds like you're going to be busy and have a lot of fun! If I'm still working at Macy's by the time I plan on moving, hopefully it wouldn't be too hard to transfer to one in Florida.

Hi all!

Sounds good JC, I am going to try and look into one of those cheap phones for when we are at Disney.

I am a little shaken up this morning...we stopped in to visit my parents who have a friend visiting with a Jack Russell terrier. My middle DD was saying hello to it while the owner was holding it, and it snarled and bit her! Didn't break the skin but left an indent of it's tooth mark! The owner told us he loved kids, and just said "oh he;s never done that before!!"

We left, not in an upsetting way but I was not comfortable there with the dog. It made me have flashbacks because when my eldest DD was only 10 months old my parents dog at the time bit her...on the neck!!!

I do not trust dogs around kids anymore, and today has shown me it doesn;t matter what the owner says. At least it didn;t break the skin. Poor kids though, they got a lecture all the way home about it. My fault too though, DD3 had just woken up from a car nap and I was still holding her, and couldn;t get to DD6 quick enough.

Phew, thanks for letting me share that...my nerves are now shattered!! Happy thoughts...happy thoughts...

Ugh! Always a good reminder to stay on your guard.

My DD5 used to be terrified of all dogs, big and small. But, it seems she has outgrown that and she always wants to pet every dog she sees!!! I think I liked it better when she was afraid and wouldn't go near them.

YEAH!! Good for you Linda....you'll have a blast, I am sure....when I started planning this trip, back in August, it was originally going to be just me going on the Girls Only Diva trip to DL....but it spiralled out of control, my boys wanting to come on one last trip, my BFF saying she can come along.....so back to WDW we go..... Actually, funny enough, airfare to California is about as pricey as airfare to Florida for us! I'm thinking it is close to the same $650 pp...so that really doesn't make one cheaper for me over the other. You'd think that with me living closer to the West Coast, it would...but it 's 1/2 of one, a dozen of another in the end!

but......I tell you......one of these yrs...(perhaps 2014) when I can convince DH to let me go again, it will be myself on the Dis Diva trip! I'd love to meet you there

I've never gone on a Diva trip before .... actually Christine suggested it to me. My daughter can only be there a couple of the nights so I'll be meeting and spending the first two days with the Divas alone .... I'm a little shy in large groups so that should be interesting but I've been looking for people to go to DL with so I'm excited to try this. They really seem like a friendly, fun group of ladies. Most of the ladies are staying at HOJO with a Retro Rate for ap holders. If this trip is as much fun as I hope it will be it'll be a yearly event for me so I would LOVE to meet you there!!! And of course any other RC ladies!
