Hi everyone! So many leaving and coming back from vacation.

Officially, I have TWELVE DAYS LEFT.......our end of year testing is complete and we have TWELVE days left. The students have officially "checked out" but we have TWELVE DAYS LEFT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't seem to change my ticker....seriously....

When I go to change my ticker from the DIS ticker maker, it seems to be stuck on the Army green animal ticker and no slider at all. Is anyone else having this problem? Is someone willing to try to change their ticker?

I KNEW this would happen one day. One too many ticker changes....

I haven't changed my ticker in a loooooong time, because in the beginning of the countdown to my upcoming trip (about 300 days ago!!!) I was changing my ticker with every change...but then I was never able to see the ticker make progress because I was always starting over. I suggest, for all RC'rs, the GENERIC TICKER!!!

YC looks like a great choice, BTW! We'll make it over there someday.

It is both of my DD's 3rd trip, so they know the process now, when we were checking the mail yesterday, DD8 said "is our Mickey mail here yet"???

Good Morning to All

So glad to finally be starting off the day doing what I love...being on the DisBoards!! This is what I've been working on for days!!! Cruise magnets for the door of our cabin....my husband is going to die when he sees the number of magnets I've made! (sorry they are so big...can't make them smaller since I have to print a certain size)

Lillian...thanks so much for the info on TL. This is what I'm leaning towards. It seems like there is more to do for the little ones. However, my 10 year old is really wanting to do that huge water slide at BB. We'll see...

Enjoy the last few days....I know how those last days are....crazy!!! Notsure about your ticker problem. Mine has been the same for a while. I'm afraid to touch it now since you're having problems!

Grumpy Grandma...glad to know about the wine!! I'm not big on it, but DH likes a glass with dinner. We're really looking forward to Jikos. I've heard great things, so hopefully we won't be disappointed.

Mousemommy... for 45 days!!! We're still waiting on our 'mail' for AKL and the cruise!!!! What in the world!!??? My sister received her Magical Express info, but nothing for us.


Does anyone know if Pas and her family encountered any of the major rain from the Tropical Storm??? We had around 6 inches here.

You are very welcome! I think your family will really enjoy TL and I think your kids will really like the snorkeling! It was a lot of fun. Though for me, I got scared because I wasn't using the snorkel right so I would freak out when I got salt water in my mouth. I would do it again in a heartbeat now that I know how to correctly use the snorkel. Here's a picture of the snorkeling area:

I like the look of TL better. I love the warm tropical look over the winter ski resort look. Take a look at pictures and the maps for each one and see which may be better for you and your family! Good luck with your decision!

I like 'em all, too. Hubster and I laugh every episode of cupcake wars with the miracle of the display that happens in a mere two hours. Built, finished, paint dry. Hmmm...
Our big favs, though, are Top Chef and Top Chef Masters.

I'm amazed every time with those displays. Those so didn't take two hours. Most of the time the ones I want to win don't win. Go figure.

I love Top Chef and Top Chef Masters! I have to say my favorite is Iron Chef America. But food is food. I love watching food being cooked.

I just tried to make a ticker, and Distickers worked for me and my browser. I just updated to Firefox 12 for Mac... wish I could help more. I did have strange problems creating tickers with two other countdown makers a few months ago, but now they all work for me. Maybe it is a browser or update issue for you?

Padawans...We're doing the Dream 5 nights...Sunday-Friday...2 days at Castaway Cay, 1 day in Nassua and 1 day at sea...Deluxe Family oceanview with verandah. My parents have an adjoining room with us. I'm wondering if I will be able to relax a little. When we're at WDW, we go non-stop!

Yay! After a very quiet day yesterday on this thread everyone is chatty this morning!

I do need to change my crazy ticker .... one more trip to add. With so many resorts for the Oct trip I need cheat notes just to get the resorts and days right. Maybe I'll wait until after that trip and then start all over!

I love both water parks but as I age I find the wave pool at TL a bit rough and much prefer the one at BB. My adult DD loves the one at TL .... much better body surfing!

Uh oh....Like I need another Disney addiction! I think I'm going to start on our magnets when we get back from our fall trip. That should help pass at least a little bit of the time until May. We are really looking forward to being on the Fantasy for a week & just being able to relax & do some fun Disney things. Especially since our WDW trip this year will be jam-packed busy.

I can't decide if we should go to AK which we have skipped the last 3 times, hit DHS for our first SWW or maybe even do nothing except sleep in and hit SAB??? I have been so obsessed with resort planning that I didn't make any real touring plans!

Does anyone ever totally wing it and still have a great time? This is new territory for me!

We do! I always make a plan, then mess it up the first day!! Just do whatever!! If the weather is good---I would hit SAB, then go from there!!

So I made my reservations yesterday for the DL Divas trip. Everyone is staying HOJO. I reserved a standard queen but I'm already second guessing myself .... should I spend the extra money for a Disney view? I've had Disney views at other resorts in the area and it's just not that great. The one time it was worth it was when my DD had knee surgery and was in a wheelchair. She was just too tired and sore to stay so we watched the fireworks from our balcony. What to do? What to do?
