Deena, good luck on the interview!!I'm sure you will ace it!!

Thanks!! It's at 9:30am on the phone!!
Thanks. I just got off the phone with the Dl interline office. They offer 30% off to Airline empoyees. I booked 4 nights for my sons birthday the last week of September. The rates are high there. 1286 for Sv, and thats with the discount. The concierge level was 2856.I can't imagine paying a extra 375.00 a night for Club level.
There are a lot of super wealthy people in California so I'm not sure why it suprises me, but it does. I'm shocked. No club level at Dl for us.
My Mom took us 4 years ago we had a suite at PPH it was nice. No idea what she paid. I'm sure the prices are lower than GCH. The location of GCH is better. You can't beat a 10 minute walk from your room to TSM.
Hopefully I won't be on the Disneylands annoying person list by Sept. They only have 3 hotels. Right? How many changes can I make?
I'm going to check out your pictures.
I get pins galore for Dl. I wish I could send them to you to use.![]()
I'm hoping AP discounts are at least 25%. It is mighty expensive--and DLH/GCH Club Levels are out of control. PPH wasn't so bad, but I want a new experience since we won't get back there for a while. You really can't beat walking right into DCA, or taking a quick walk down to get steak nachos at White Water Snacks--you must get the nachos.
Yep, there's only 3 hotels, but lots of views, lol. I am going with DLH Resort/Pool View--I think, lol. I saved a few vacations to try to generate a pin.
Hello RCers!
Luv, good luck with your interview! And I vote for TIW. For us, it's an easy call given the ages and eating styles of our kids. And when staying CL, we really need the flexibility in ordering. We do a ton of signatures, but don't order full meals. And I like a glass of wine or two with dinner, and the 20% of everything is really nice. So we ditched the dining plan several years ago. I say TIW!
Thanks!! I think it'll work better too!!
I agree with you on the TIW. Mine does not expire until May 31 so I'm good to go for next years trip even if I don't have the Annual Pass. Thanks for the info on GCH. I know Dl like the back of my hand, but I have only stayed on site once. I think the reason I used to dislike Dl is because we used to do the all day commando 1 day trips. Now that we have been going to WDW and stayed onsite I realize it doesn't have to be that way. You can hit rope drop, and be back at the pool in 6 hours enjoying a umbrella drink. That is more my vacation style.
The cost was about the same as Poly. It was the cost difference between a non-cl and a Cl room that was astounding. I would never pay more than 100.00 a night to upgrade to Cl much less 375.00. Wow!!!! I would have a hard time justifying that. CL at pph is a little more reasonable. I don't think the pool is that great at PPh. The newly renovated Disneyland hotel looks nice too.
I think TIW is for sure, and it'll keep flexibility on the room too!! Otherwise, I'll get locked in at 45 days.
Don't worry--I love CL, and no way in the world can I justify GCH/DLH club level! We can eat character breakfasts, buy lots of potato chips, coffee, sprite, beer, and order chocolate covered strawberries for wayyyyyyyyy less than the difference. So that's what we'll do
