Okay so I'm set on my resort ressies now but I'm still having an internal debate about location at AoA. Right now I'm booked at Finding Nemo which DH and I prefer. The kids don't know we're going there but caught me looking at pictures and both expressed an interest in the Lion King room. I've seen a good map on here somewhere and it looks like although Lion King is further away from the main building and doesn't have a pool in its courtyard it would be closer to the bus stop yet not too far from the pool or food court. Now I'm thinking I should call and switch it. Think I might still wait until FD is announced for Nov and make 1 call (fingers crossed it applies to us). Ugh. Another decision to make.

I will NOT click on those WL renovated room pics. It doesn't matter anyway because a family of 5 can't fit!

Would probably take a cab from DHS to DTD, and then you could do maybe Wolfgang Puck Express??? We had a great meal there. There is also Fulton's, but that is 2 TS and I haven't tried it but it looks wonderful!!!

I've heard alot of great things about Raglan Road as well!!!

I just checked out LANouba tickets.....it'll be about $180 for the 2 of us.....I keep thinking that's one of our dinners at UNIVERSAL (bubba gumps) for the 4 of us!!!!!

Maybe we should just go back to the POLY, have dinner at KONA (1 TS credit ea.....so I could use 2TS at Sci FI and pay OOP for two of us) ...... Would be the more economical way to do it. Then we could just do the pool/wishes later to relax.

I like your thinking BTW....yes, sometimes all the little steps in between make a final small change seem like nothing compared to the months of planning/ changes! I think I can venture out and say I trust you have it right and I don't think you'll feel the need for changes anymore

Truth be told (god forbid DH read this), this is the dream anniversary/birthday trip I had envisioned...but to plan or book it up front seemed like a lot of $$$. Yeah, we're spending the same amount of money, but our trip has been paid off for quite some time, so just throwing $250 at the reservation to get CL didn't seem like a big deal...it just took all the steps in between to get to this point.

I just told DH that IF we did the cruise, if we don't enjoy it...DONE! We never have to do one again. This is after I already told him this morning we should not do it, maybe 3 - 5 years from now. He then told me to seek help, I am seriously in the head, and find a group called over planners anonymous.

Marie I have never eaten at any of the places you mentioned but if it were me I would pick one of the two at GF since you will have already traveled back to the Poly from DHS to freshen up, a quick hop over to GF , have dinner watch the fireworks from the dock at GF the an easy stroll back to the Poly.

Marie this is exactly what I would suggest. Of course I've never eaten at either of the two places you mentioned there. But I do know how much I enjoyed see the resort and grounds when we ate at 1900 Park Faire.

Thank you Sheila and Linda for your words of reason I am actually going to do as you suggest...I think LA NOUBA is too expensive considering all I've put out for this trip with MNSSHP, Discovery Cove, and Universal.....I think I may pay out of pocket for 2 meals T Sci FI, then just go back to the POLY , freshen up and go to KONA instead of a signature.....it's right at our resort and a more economical way to use our credits!

I have read some excellent reviews of Kona plus no cc hold required if you have a last minute change of plans

That's GREAT! Sheila.....I don't like those CC holds, makes me feel very tied down and helpless in the event something happens that delays us! I'm taking a chance with having Cali Grill on our arrival day, but I figure we land at 1:09 pm, and dinner is 7:45 pm.....so I think we are safe on that one **fingers crossed

I think that WPE is one of the best uses of a QS credit that you can do. Also I love the food there and that they actually bring the food to you! Sometimes after a long day I just want someone to wait on me!

DH is mad we're missing SWW, but work is mandatory for Mother's Day weekend, so I told him I was sorry. I think I'm done with May trips. I said that last year, but somehow forgot. It's too hot and miserable. I'm hoping I survive September. I can't wait to tell you all about it But I'm going to make you wait till morning!

I've already been pricing trips since I've been back. We blew through most of our money and didnt have enough to put down for a deluxe resort bounceback---now I'm kicking myself. I would say that we will be on the monorail somewhere for sure when AP discounts come out!

I'm going to settle in! Be back in the morning!!

Hi!! Just thought I would join. I am a resort, adr, total vacation planner changer. I am obsessed. I think my husband thinks all I talk about is Disney. We leave in a few days and I am mostly happy with my choice of resort. Every so often I think I should change...but nope. I am being good. (trying to anyway!) I am really hoping to book at BB while we are there for Aug. We already have a room booked at AOA but Dh isn't really thrilled with that. He wants BLT, or YC, or BWI. I am hoping something is still available for our dates on the BB. If not, I know we will still change. He isn't a value guy. There are so many of us though, makes it hard to find a good fit. A 2 bedroom villa at BLT would be a dream come true. I go back and forth all the time trying to decide on the perfect place to stay. Anyway. Just wanted to say hi!

I am so excited to hear your reviews.....Happy to hear you had a good trip, sorry the weather was a pain.....I sure hope Sept isn't too miserable!!! I hate the extreme heat I went befor in Sept (1-12, 2009) it was hot, but we managed to survive.....I was praying it might cool down a little towards the end of the month! I guess, more or less reallly hoping it might I don't want to suffer heat exhaustion! Fingers crossed the weather will be nice for us !

I can assure you it is just as hot at the end of September! A couple of times in Epcot I was so hot that I was getting chills.
