Doing the happy dance :cool1: NO CHEMO UNTIL I RETURN FROM CALIFORNIA!

Linda, thinking good thoughts for your husband today. Hope it goes well and he can put this behind him. Hugs for you

Janet, what are your plans with the birthday girl tonight? So sad that her BFF is moving, but thank goodness for email, texting, free cell minutes...they can easily keep in touch!

Dani, yay for vacation (even if it isn't at WDW)! :goodvibes

mousemommy, yay for pre-trip shopping!

Welcome home Jeanette. Feel better! Glad you slept the whole way home. I hope everyone else is feeling better. Hugs to you

Woohooo!!!!! So happy for you!!! :woohoo:

So, on another note...I have had an issue pulling up my ressies on the Disney website...whatever, I have called and confirmed everything is in the system...I just like to look at them.

Anyway, I decided to try and pull them up today, and there they were...along with a new "reminder" that in 30 days, I can do on-line check in!!!! :woohoo: The trip seems that much closer now!!!

I am home, we left early because I was so sick  So 12 hours later we have arrived. I am part delirious from fever so I will catch up tomorrow! :grouphug:

Welcome Home! Hope you feel better real soon! :goodvibes

Doing the happy dance :cool1: NO CHEMO UNTIL I RETURN FROM CALIFORNIA!

:woohoo: That's great! :woohoo:

DH is having a cancerous (sp) growth removed from his ear today. Wish us luck and good thoughts everyone.

Sending luck & wishes your way! pixiedust:

JC: This is great news and you will be in tip-top condition to be with DD for her graduation. I know you are one very proud DM. Stay strong:grouphug:

Jeanette: You were gone waaaaay too long:hug:. There's nothing worse than being sick on vacation. I'm glad you didn't fly so that you could at least pace yourself and stop when you needed to. Janet did such a great job, as usual, of keeping us updated and in line. There was no funny business while you were gone:snooty:. Well, except for maybe Deena:rolleyes1

PLEASE get lots of fluid and rest!!!

I'm going to change gears here and ask who else is intrigued by the AoA FS? We've never stayed at a Value and I'm really impressed by this one: The food court offerings sound wonderful and those 565 SF rooms with two baths?! I know there are some negatives compared with a Deluxe, but I'm strongly considering a split before WL. But, that would mean changing from CR. But, AoA would be fresh and new and different!

When I called to find out if the military rate could be applied (it can, BTW and it's 30% off), the CM saw we were booked at the CR and said, "You do know that this is a Value and not a Deluxe?" :sad2:

Kook,
What a silly CM comment. That offer (30%off) sounds fabulous.
I think about Disney Resorts the same way I think about restaurant choices. Sometimes I look forward to something a bit more fancy, but often I am just really happy in our local brew pub, munching on a yummy burger and sipping an IPA. Neither is right or wrong.

Disney has so much to enjoy at every pricepoint. Here's hoping you have the opportunity to give AoA a try at some point. I'd love to read your review!::thumbsup2

OMG! This place is amazing!!!! I think our room is bigger than my house! Wish we were here longer than 2 days! I took many pics to share when I get home :) hope everyone is doing well. Reading and posting from my phone is awful!

An IPA is never wrong:thumbsup2. I really appreciate your comments and you're right. BTW, do they even have burgers at AoA? JK, the menu is amazing with something for everyone. What to do, what to do:scratchin

Can't wait to see your photos. Will you be posting them to the GF thread? Yes, it's diabolical trying to post from a phone - unless you're 16!

Pas...welcome back! Hope you feel better soon!:goodvibes

Jungle...Great news for you:goodvibes:hug:

Grumpy G...Hope all goes well today!

Janet....party: enjoy the day!!

Mousemommy....I do the same thing with Ziplocs for my kids...in fact, I saved the ones we used last year. Getting ready to reuse them. Makes life very simple...pull out a bag and put on the clothes! Great minds think alike:thumbsup2

Kook....We looked at AoA, too. They look really nice and two bathrooms would be great for our family of 5. However, I started thinking about my precious balcony time (weird, I know)...and the views (which DH says he could care less about...a lie!) We would like to try them, though. Maybe you could do AoA first, then the deluxe. Not sure I would do the reverse:confused:...you might also miss the deluxe club level....just sayin'

:wave2: Mornin' Peeps!!

Been crazy busy lately! I see our RC thread is moving along as usual! :cool1:

Hannah: Happy the new job seems to be working out!

Gwynne: :yay: for an extra Disney day!! Still working on making that true for our August trip. :goodvibes

Cin: Welcome to the RC thread!! You are in good company here. :goodvibes

Heather: Love the photos!! Looking forward to your AKL and dream pix!!

Padawans, that some great savings on your APs :woohoo: .... and Disney will get it another way, right?? :goodvibes

Jenny: :yay: for double digits!! :dance3: (I'm in double digits too!!)

WOW, congrats on the upgrade!! :woohoo: we will need to see some pix!! :cool1:

Pas is schedule to travel back today ... although she and Maddie were sick yestrday .. caught the bug from Bree and Katie .....haven't heard back from Pas, but hopefullly they are better for traveling ...

My news .... .... My beautiful, funny DD is turning 14 today!!! :flower3: Where did the time go??? Unbelievable, its a little sad (but mostly happy).

She will be going into 9th grade in the fall ....it's just doesn't seem possible. Have been looking at old photos (as my DD's BFF is moving away next weekend, been dealing with that :sad2:). Time definitely seems to go much quicker as our kids age.

Hope everyone has a good day!! Hi Magic!! and all the RC peeps!!

Happy b-day to your DD!!

Sitting the the doctor's office. I love having this iPad, it means I can catch up on the DIS while I wait! Hopefully no chemo today, I am off to CA next week for my daughter's graduation...we want me in the best shape possible!

Janet, Happy Birthday to your DD! It is both sad and exciting to see them grow up.

Jennyjinx, I gather no more quick jaunt to the Poly to meet you. I will find you no matter where you are staying

Pas and I texted last night, she said they were heading home today. It will be good to have our leader back! It is a shame they caught a bug on vacation  but hopefully they had a good time!

A lot of vacations to WDW coming up for our RC family. I heart the mouse is there now, who is going next?!!

No changes made.....only my mind working overtime again...so yes let's still meet up!:thumbsup2

Glad to see you back. Happy Birthday to your DD. :bday:

DH is having a cancerous (sp) growth removed from his ear today. Wish us luck and good thoughts everyone.

I think trying AoA would be amazing! (don't know what FS is). This may just be what you have been searching for all along. TWO BATHS :cool1:!!! We have never stayed at a value either, but why not try something new like this? Honestly, BWI is a deluxe and you didn't love it, or how about the RPC, super deluxe with a potentially HORRIBLE view. It will be an adventure! Plus you are the resident expert on WDW resorts, staying there will be research...then you can move to your beloved DL WL. :cloud9:

i heart the mouse, so excited for you. Enjoy the RPC and of course the scones

Thanks to everyone who is excited as I am for no chemo :rainbow: I told my on oncologist when I return I will absolutely commit to chemo every other week all summer, until Sept 16th...when we leave for WDW :rolleyes1

:bday:party::bday: to Janet's DD!!!
You've got me on the edge, JC, teetering on the brink of one crazy change. And, you remembered the two bathrooms:hug:. You make great points and I guess this means that even though you didn't approve of the FW cabin idea with those sticks you said I'd have to rub together:rotfl2:, you do approve of AoA - even for four whole nights? (BTW, FS is Family Suite - sorry.)

Will we get to see a graduation photo? I hope so! So happy for you and your amazing DD - it runs in the JC family;)

WL is always last - save the best for last:thumbsup2. If we weren't doing a split with 8 more nights at WL, I wouldn't even be considering it. But, since DH gave the go ahead to book almost anything...

I also approve of AoA!
OK, this is getting very interesting. Three Deluxe lovers are supportive of AoA - I'm sooooo on the edge now!
