Texas and Pas, your trips are far enough away that I wouldn't give up on Poly! I'm feeling good about our switch to CR for Easter Weekend because that trip is so close and we just did 5 nights at Poly . . . but it's not over yet!

Yeah....my plan was to wait it out. DH and the kids made a RC.....

Just wanted to say Poly! Poly! Poly! We stayed last August when the main pool was closed and it was still a magical trip. Texas it cannot be beat for a MK heavy trip, and the ease of coming back to relax and swim is priceless. I say wait it out like Pas said.

I'm so glad to read this, Jenny! We're staying at the Poly during Easter & I've been so worried that I made the wrong decision because of the pool. I'm gonna stay strong & keep the Poly!

All this talk of Poly reminds me it is on my 'bucket' list someday. I've wanted to stay there since my CP. Actually Orbitz had a great deal that I looked at but ultimately decided on Beach Club for those days as we really wanted to be close for SWW. I think we are set now on resorts. CBR first then BC then offsite for another week with a trip to Universal.

There was a joke on another thread about a "Golden Pillow" goal - like the Golden spoon- for people who have stayed at lots of resorts

As long as the golden pillow is comfy I'll take it LOL. We are switching from Poly to BC. I've stayed overnight once with DH and once CL with my daughters. My DH doesn't like all the changes on the Seven Seas Lagoon so we will try the Epocit side.

It's going to be great! Do not let my change worry you, it's all about a better pool at BC and the location. I am a MK girl through and through...the rest of the Pas crew...EPCOT

I was at AKL originally in May but then we got an unexpected expensive so I've now changed our reservation to POR in August!! Waiting for one more change is free dining comes out and I can get a room at another resort (assumming POR will not be included).

Lots of POR love on this thread!!! I hate expenses phooey! Fingers crossed for summer discounts soon!

We would love to stay at BC. I'm thinking we may pull the trigger for our 5 year wedding anniversary next year. You just cannot beat the convenience.

I never realized how convenient the Epcot resorts were until we did YC, you can't beat it!

Pas, can't beat SAB in the summer - another good choice. (This is why I RC so much - I think they are all good choices!) I'm missing the Epcot resort area, but the kids are so excited about MK area resorts right now. They think we've stayed in the Epcot area too much and need to mix it up now. I see how that makes sense. And I'm the one who loves walking the most, so saying that "we" love walking to two parks is more "me!"

The new BC rooms look great - so does the club lounge - can't wait to see your photos!

Thanks Pixar I LOVE the new décor, and the new lounge looks fab as well. I guess we are switching spots since I am usually in the MK area, and never in the Epcot area. This will be the kids first time since DS14 was a toddler when we stayed at BCV. Getting more and more excited!

Yep! It's a great place to stay I would imagine. We should of booked it for our honeymoon but we chose the Contemporary instead. Not my favorite deluxe. We are major Epcot fans.

It is pigletgirl! I little South of Clearwater Beach. First time there, we are staying at a place called Tortuga Inn it really looks lovely!

Pas we have friends who go to Anna Maria every winter break with their kids and they absolutely love it!

We're freezing cold and thinking of leaving two days earlier for spring break. I can save $20pp on flights by leaving earlier (Southwest, so a credit not refund, but can change for free) and AP rate at Pop is $108/night. What does everyone think of Pop for a quick two nights before WL?

Wow! I caught the title of the thread and thought "sounds like a bunch of people like me!" I'm late to the party I see but I change resorts so much I can practically hear my TA rolling her eyes through the phone lol. Last trip we started at AoA, switched to POR, briefly considered WL and ended up at CSR. Then I just couldn't shake the idea of staying near Epcot so we added on 2 days at YC. This time I had a solo trip booked at POFQ but my husband gave in and agreed to a family trip so we switched to POR, then upgraded to WL because there was nothing open at YC. I looked the other day and they had availability so we've moved over there! All the resorts just look so cool in their own way it's so hard to decide! Glad to have found some like minded folks

Good to hear! The main pool looks especially great - so cute! I'll be OK with the beds - my husband isn't joining us until the part of the trip where we leave Disney for the beach, so I'll share with our tiny 8-year-old.

Thank you! I've been dying to try AMI since a coworker told me about her Thanksgiving down there. It's been a tie between Siesta Key and AMI it all came down to the resort. I called the resort and the woman was super awesome so it left me with a great impression. We usually do St.Petes/Treasure Island so we are already in love with the Florida Gulf Coast.

It's official! We switched to WL and hopefully we won't be switching again.

I usually book flights first, then change the reservation to match. But that's because I'm more flexible on arrival day with resorts - if my preferred resort isn't available, I don't mind staying somewhere else for a night or two.

This is what I did last time, but availability is so limited this year that we're pretty much locked into our dates, (plus my husband refuses to add any days this time--probably cause our trip grew from 5 to 9 last time, oops) so I'm just hoping there are some decent flight options when Southwest releases the schedule!

What? Trip grew? My husband locks in his dates, but I often take the kids earlier and/or leave later. My dates aren't set in stone until we board the plane. Last year, we added an extra night the day before departure (but I have an excuse - that was based on weather.) Our trip last month grew from 5 nights to 9. The Disney part of our trip next month grew from 1 night to 5. I think I do this every time.
