Trish, I'm so happy for you!!! How exciting! The only problem is that prompted me to check rates at other resorts for our stay, which are really good. But I should not, because I promised my husband I would stick with my $67/night deal. And our youngest is so excited about that Calypso pool!

Also staying strong on the January AK/GF/BWI, but can't decide on our way-to-the-airport from the beach resort day for spring break. Just one night - the night before Easter - eek! Thinking of Easter brunch at Boma before our flight . . .

I knew we down to the wire with needing 5 days to cancel POP if we were to move.

I started today checking at 7:30, then 12 and again at 3:30.

BAM! TPV atrium club at cr with passholder.

I still remember sitting on bed back in January with a view of the castle when dh and ds crashed our girls only portion of our trip with a cancelled flight.

We had to move out to garden wing for space. She was sad but understanding of course.

So this is the 2 nights we lost back then

I don't even want to think about the boys starting school. Luckily, we still have a few weeks.

We start after Labor Day, but we are returning Labor Day weekend, so we are getting everything good-to-do before our trip!

We start the last Tuesday of August, I think it's the 26th this year. When the boys were first in school, they started the first Tuesday of August, got a week off in early October, a week at Thanksgiving, two weeks at Christmas, two weeks in March for Spring break and they were still out of school the last week of May. I miss that schedule.

I'm so excited!! I ordered new credit cards with a picture of Walt and Mickey in front of the castle. I still haven't told the DH I ordered them. This is what they look like.....


I just posted the picture they emailed me, letting me know they approved the picture, so the information on it isn't the real information on our cards.

Both of my girls had Disney themes....DD10 had Winnie the Pooh and DD7 had the Disney princesses....we couldn't do any less for this guy!

I was able to make our FP+ selections at midnight.

Good Point: It all worked quickly & nothing has disappeared (so far).

Bad Point: I have no idea if my selection times are "good". If that's what will work best for us. Plus, I have family coming with us who are staying offsite so I can't even do their FP's for another month to try & get them even close to us.

And I couldn't even get s 7DMT until our last park day which is thankfully @ MK.

The changing really is becoming a sickness. And yes, I'm still stalking ADRs, trying to get one more I can't get. Although, I miraculously was able to snag a BoG ADR for our 1st night @ 6:15 pm. Couldn't believe it when it popped up yesterday morning.

There were absolutely NO Anna & Elsa FP's for days. Not that Reid wanted to meet them but I looked out of curiosity. I'm so stressed that (1) my FPs aren't for times that are going to work well for us and/or (2) that we'll only end up riding those 3 rides each day.

I'm feeling a bit bummed. I think we're going to need to board the dog while we are away. On Saturday DH and I are going to go look at a few and then decide. Once we do, the dog has an "interview" with them to see if it's a good match. The few places we've picked out have gotten good reviews, but I'm just a nervous nelly.

In other news, we received our luggage tags and official paperwork yesterday. I've already attached it to our bags. One step closer!

Ya now that we are at CR in CL I had to change all of our FP+s! Don't want to miss Appies or Desserts

Do you go online and try to change your airline seats? I do that as well

I keep moving us as forward as I can and checkin right at the 24 hr point just in case a first class upgrade is available at a reason price.

I have changed which small carryon I am going to use several times too

Also had to change out some outfits. Switching from POP or CR atrium club required a few changes

After talking to the friend I used to work with today, unless you know the person really, really well, you might be better boarding them. She has two friends that live in her subdivision that were friends with each other. Friend #1 had a German Sheppard that was her child. She walked her often and babied her big time. She let Friend #2, who's son used to attend my friend's in home day care. Well when Friend #1 got back from vacation, her German Sheppard was dead. Friend #2 came up with excuse after excuse, but after an autopsy they found out they dog died of dehydration.

Well, I'm almost done with my friend's scarf. Then I have to make mine and both our hats. I keep finding more and more t-shirt ideas that I want to make.

Hello to all my RC friends! It's been an insane summer and I am so ready to sit down!!!
ILs were here from mid-June to July, then DD7 out to visit with them, then out to get DD, then BIL and SIL came out here with nephew and we've spent the last week touring Maryland... *takes breathe* and now I'm in my 45 day window!!!! When did that happen?!?!?!

Yay!!! So excited!!! We decided on the CR based on the fact that we will have the stroller and lots of STUFF, so figured CR is the most convenient! Can't wait to show baby Mason our favorite place! (Oh yeah, his name is Mason... )

pigletgirl late on commenting on the serious accident involving your friends. Thankful that medically they are improving. How very sad for the loss of the other family, but how thoughtful and caring of the family to donate the organs. My friend benefited from a kidney transplant 5 years ago, and she is forever grateful to the donor's family. And egarding Pop Century, its really a fun resort! Hoping you will like your stay. And yes to adding Universal days. For us, its Potter in 2015!

On another note, a quick update. My dh has been having some serious health issues over the past year and a half or so. He is having surgery on Tues, and hopefully that will help him with his hand function. We are crossing our fingers it will be successful. If you could have a good thought or prayer for him I would so appreciate it.

So, it's been a stressful summer - lots of drama with DH's family. Luckily, the siblings are getting along better but the frustration toward my ILs is really strong from each child (mostly involving them not honoring boundaries as grandparents). My trip out there was so up and down and I ended up in a yelling match with FIL... just not good. My MIL and FIL are not coping with my nephew's death well (it's been 18 months but they are no where near that far along the grieving process) and their inability to cope is causing strife with the rest of the group. The good thing is my SILs and I have gotten closer and DH and his brother and BIL are closer now... but it's sort of turning into an Us v. Them situation with DH's parents as THEM. I'm just hoping it doesn't come to a head at WDW...

This week has been tiring - I've driven over 1000 miles and toured everywhere from DC to Ocean City to Annapolis - and DD7 and DH took turns with the stomach bug while traveling (always fun!). My BIL and SIL are a little younger than we are so we have to bite our tongue a lot but it's been a good visit, just tiring.

With all that going on, I'm very unsettled about our Sept trip. I keep thinking of doing a split with CR and doing TPV... even though we won't be in the room for fireworks, which seems silly. I just am worried 7 nights at one resort is so long and loved our last split. *sighs* I really just need a few nights to veg and than relook at everything.

I told her that if that had been any of my fur-nieces/ nephews (my sister's dogs) or my fur-brother/sister (my mom's dogs) either she would be in jail or I would for beating the tar out of her. Heck when I puppy sat for my sister, I slept on the couch so I could have all the dogs around me in case they needed anything during the night.
