Just back from 6 nights at AS Movies. While there, we ate at both Movies and Music (closer to our room) food courts. I did not notice ANY appreciable differences in food court crowds due to Sports being closed.
RFID cards work GREAT for room entry and for making purchases.
The mugs are another story....YES, RFID mug requirement/refills are in effect at BOTH resorts. One day refills $8.99 - 3 day $11.99 - 5 days $14.99 - length of stay $17.99.
I could not get my mug to work- EVER- at the soda refills. It either couldn't read it or would say it had expired. To have the matter addressed involves getting back in line and waiting to see a CM. MANY people were having issues and were very frustrated. I hope Disney receives a good deal of negative feedback.
As far as buses-great service. Only shared a bus ONE time and that was for TL.
