This would be one of the reasons we have our own pool...although I don't really have a problem with public pools, seeing as they are super chlorinated. DH on the other hand refuses to swim in a public pool b/c people pee in them (hence, no swimming ever while on vacation... )

...although, he WILL swim in the ocean...isn't that worse?

I *usually* get out - almost always! - but there have been times that I peed in the pool. It wasn't an emergency and I don't think, "So what?" I know it is wrong. I did it anyway.

Sor-ry.

Ewww... no way would I do this. Just thinking about it makes me sick to think I may have just been swimming around in other people's pee last week while at WDW. :scared1:

I wouldn't worry about it.

The chlorine levels that they use are high. I can always smell the chlorine at the pools. Also, the smell of chlorine is overwhelming at the water parks, especially the Lazy River at TL.

Just think about it... Look at the number of people that go to Disney's water parks. How many of them do you actually see going into the bathrooms? My guess is that there is a whole lot of peeing going on and it's not in the bathrooms. :rolleyes1

Those of you who didn't check "no way", please stand up and let me know who you are. You won't be invited to my pool party! :)

EEEwwww ,, never , thats just nasty

I never really gave it much thought about others doing it until now.

Does anyone know if people can "catch" diseases from
people who do this ?

No way!

You nasties! 19 people said yes!

I at least wait until I get in the hot tub where it's warmer. :rolleyes1

j/k!!! :rotfl2:

I can't believe how many people think this is okay! I never do!:scared:

YIKES!! I would never pee in a pool! Ick!! I just couldn't bring myself to do it. I hadn't even thought of it as an option until now! Eeeuuuww!! Now I'll be thinking of that every time I go in a pool....

I have.

Raise your hands if you have ever opened your mouth in a pool...OMG, look at all of the germs!

Saliva, dead skin cells, blood, ear wax, toe jamb, belly button fuzzies, dandruff, hair and body oils....tons of body fluids are being added to pool water every single time a person enters it. For some reason, urine is the show stopper.

Wow, based on those poll numbers I will think twice about going into a pool with others and I will also think twice about who I allow in my pool.

You forgot snot. Nothing makes me want to smim longer than seeing a kid with a runny nose.

As someone who has spent far, far too many hours in a pool...while it was snowing, raining and the deck had a thin sheet of ice...

no comment

:duck:

(I've also the amount of chemicals that actually go into a pool--plus the fact urine is sterile, and I wouldn't worry too much about it. Then again, my water polo team's favorite motto was "Water polo: it's your wildest dreams come true, a toilet and a drinking fountain all in one)

My water polo team has had way to many 'peeing' experiences in our pool.

Great poll!! I got quite a few interesting comments when I posted a poll about "peeing outside in the yard--yes or no" many weeks ago. It was fun to see the results. I think from the results I am raising heathens.........:rolleyes1
Anyway, fun poll!! And no, we don't pee in the pool. Outside by a tree---sure, but not in a pool. :thumbsup2
