No one would look at you funny for bringing them there, but there is nothing to entertain them there. I would say it would depend on how well they can tolerate sitting through a potentially long, potentially boring (for them) meal.

Kids are welcome at all Disney restaurant except for Victoria & Alberts.

There are also kid-friendly menus so you won't have to worry about what they can eat.

Just to add... this isn't Artist Point specific, there are quite a few restaurants that are boring for kids.

You could, they certainly accomodate them, but I feel like this is a better place for a romantic dinner.

Can you bring the kids? Yes, but I wouldn't. I like this restaurant more for a special, romantic dining experience. It's also a quieter restaurant, with soaring ceilings so any sound really does carry. The food was absolutely incredible!

We ate at Flying Fish on the Boardwalk and found the food to also be outstanding. It's a really noisy, busy type restaurant, and I think if you were looking for fine dining this would be a better fit with children. Flying Fish does not have anything special for children, there is just more of a boisterous atmosphere.

Have you thought about the German restaurant in Epcot? Totally different, not fine dining, but the buffet food is good. (And my husband is not a buffet fan. He's kind of a food snob.) Our children loved eating there. Really enjoyed the family style table and the entertainment.

I agree with PPs in that it's more of a romantic restaurant. If you're looking for signature dining, Narcoossee's is fun on the water and if you time it right you can see the EWP or Wishes... or both. California Grill is also fun because it's so high up. After those 2, I'd say Hollywood Brown Derby and Flying Fish are more kid-entertaining... as much as they can be.

Don't get me wrong, Artist Point is good, very good, but if your children have a short attention span, which most do, they may act up and get bored while there.

Also, if you were looking to eat in the WL, Whispering Canyon Cafe is VERY fun and just a few steps away.

We're bringing our two kids (ages 14 and 6). I did a lot of long thinking when it came to signature dinners. I wanted to do some, as we're on DxDP. Obviously my 14-yr-old can handle it. I think my youngest can, too. He's very well behaved in public. It's just when he's at home ... :lmao:

Only you know what your kids can handle. If you think they might start to get restless, go ahead and take some quiet activities that they can do at the table.

JMHO ...

We are taking our two DDs (8 and 6) in December, this will our second time dining there. We take our kids to all of the Signature restaurants with us and they love it. They have food that both girls can eat plus they love the paint your own puzzle cookie. Like other PPs have mentioned, it is a more relaxed, and romantic atmosphere so kids could get bored real fast.
