We are low salt - the shared appetizers for table are not low salt at all.

But - the children's shared appetizers for table are low salt ...
From the Garden = Fruit, Vegetables, Cheese, and create-your-own Honey Butter

So as 2 adults - can we ask for the children's shared appetizers , which would be....
From the Garden = Fruit, Vegetables, Cheese, and create-your-own Honey Butter ?

Also would would get Royal Prime Rib Roast, horseradish mashed potato, carrots, popover, jus
But can we get instead of the horseradish mashed potatoes and get the children's roasted potatoes ?

Thank you

The answer is most likely yes, just ask your server and know your YMMV.

We were on DDP when we ate there with 4 adults, 1 child, a 1 under 3(but ALMOST 3 by a few days). The youngest was sad because the child on the plan was getting all kinds of cool items. Our waitress saw that and without a word brought him several special items. So they clearly have some authority to customize.

Yes, disney is great about accommodations for dietary restrictions. Just explain up front you are on a low sodium diet and they will be happy to accommodate.

I went in December and was able to get the child’s app. When I first went a year ago I did not even think to ask for it, instead my friend got to eat 2 of each app. I have also asked for plain mashed both times and it was no problem for them.

DD19 is allergic to shrimp, and neither DD15 nor I like shrimp. They gave us vegetarian spring rolls instead of the shrimp for that appetizer. (And DH got to have his shrimp cocktail.) I would assume that was a low sodium option as well.

In the dietary restrictions area when you book, is there an option for low salt/restricted salt diet? If so, I'd click that and they'll make sure to give you options that are low sodium.

In July, DD & I both have a shellfish allergy. They brought us the veggie spring roll & DD ask for & was brought the children's app which she enjoyed.
I find Disney to be accommodating with the low salt diet. The past several trips, I have asked for low salt & especially for the main proteins, the chef is able to honor that request.

I have a shellfish allergy, and they brought me a nice little tomato salad instead of the shrimp. If you'd like the children's appetizer, just ask! But you might want to see what your other options would be, in case you would prefer them.

I don't think it'll be a problem to substitute :).

I also have a shrimp allergy. It definitely wasn't a problem to substitute when we went on 1/25. Even for the family members that simply don't like shrimp. They only offered us one substitute. For our table of 4, we each got the From the Garden app (we didn't look at the children's menu, but I'm thinking that must be the same app since it also had "dirt" :)).

Disney is awesome about dietary issues. It is the one place I truly never have to worry about cross-contamination.
