So I have 2 weeks until my vacation :thumbsup2 and I made my reservations ages ago - but now I'm second guessing everything (so you'll be seeing me alot on here for the next two weeks )!
I want this trip to be wonderful since my boyfriend has never been - and food and wine plays into that! I've been to Citricos before and absolutely loved it, but we're staying at WL and I've heard such great things about Artist Pointe - now I'm confused! Which would you go to for a nice, romantic, and quiet adult meal?

I have been to both and love both of them. During our dinners, Artist Point was the quietest of the two, but that could just have been the particular nights we visited. I think I would check out the menus and see which one had the most appeal.

Well we're going to both :) but if you're staying at the WL... I would go with Artist Point. Since you're staying there, you'll be walking by it, constantly second guessing your decision and probably change to it anyway :) You could make it a nice night to hang at the resort... or if you want to go to the parks after... you could go back to your room, change out of your "signature clothes" and head to a park! AP will be new to us, but Citricos is a favorite--either way, you won't be disappointed.

You cannot go wrong with either choice IMO!

One thing to think about...if you do go to Citricos, it's a chance for your boyfriend to see a different resort which is always fun to do...especially when it's somewhere like GF!

I've been to both several times. They are both usually fairly quiet, especially if you dine later. If you are seated at the back of Citricos, it's very quiet, much quieter than Artist Point.

I think the food is a lot better at Citricos.

I prefer Citricos over AP, but they are both very good (and I am going to both on my trip to WDW next month). You can't go wrong with either.

I think both are great choices, but I prefer the food at Artist Point - the menu seems more unique and creative to me. Citricos offers upscale Mediterranean-inspired fare, but it's slightly less interesting to me. Also, I think Artist Point is a much more calm, quiet restaurant. There is peaceful background music that further enhances the setting.

We prefer Artist's Point, as well. If you do keep your reservation there, ask for a table by the window, especially if your reservation is around sundown. SO pretty. DH has the Smoked Portobello Mushroom Soup every time he goes. We have been dining there since 1996, and have not had a bad meal yet.

Citricos is a much quieter restaurant, and personally I think the food is much better there as well!

We've been to both, but we enjoyed the food and service at AP a little more. If you happen to get Sean as your waiter, you won't be disappointed in the service. We found AP to be much quieter than Citricos, but Citricos wasn't loud in April, especially later at night.

I've been to both, and Citricos is my favorite. But since you've been there already and are staying at WL, it's a perfect opportunity to try AP!

Thanks for all your reviews! Due to such enthusiasm for both I've now made reservations for each to be on the safe side!
