Artist Point "Business Casual"

My DH and I have ADRs for Artist Point in March, and when I made the ADR the CM mentioned that Business Casual is required for the restaurant. We have planned on being in the MK and taking the boat over to WL for dinner and then boat back over to the MK for Wishes.

That means we'll be in park attire, which in March is anywhere from jeans, capris or shorts for me, and if its above 50, shorts for my DH. My DH only has khaki shorts, so I'm hoping that will be ok, and I can wear "nice" capris if necessary, but we'd still prefer t-shirts to say polo shirts. Would we be ok? Or do I need to switch to Whispering Canyon ADRs? (I really wanna see the WL!)

I was wondering that as well for my PS at Yachtsman's Steakhouse......

While I'm familiar with resprt casual, I plan on wearing capris & nicer t's in the parks and really son't want to have to carry a change of clothes with me......Any Advice?

You know, we were just there the other week and I wore jeans and a nice sweater. DH did similarly. We were, however, not terribly surprised to see people in shorts and T-shirts. I would not stress too much over this...I think the dress code is more to keep people from wearing bathing suits or something like that.

I didn't know they had a dress code? We were there for our rehearsal dinner and the men in our party wore khaki's and button down shirts, and the ladies wore casual dresses or capri pants and casual tops. But I've seen plenty of people there in jeans and shorts so I don't think they enforce a dress code. But, yeah, they probably want to keep people in bathing suits out (it's close to where you go out to the pool).

That's really it: They're going to be more likely to rely on their guests complying with the dress code voluntarily, rather than applying any heavy-handed enforcement.

As you will see from other threads on this topic, the "dress code" is just a suggestion. They are trying to keep tank tops on men and swimsuits on anyone out of the finer restaurants. Other than that, you will see everything from shorts and t-shirts to business casual to dressy.

I believe we wore nice khakis and sweaters. I don't remember what other people were wearing, but nobody stood out as being under dressed or over dressed.

I personally would want my husband to wear a collared shirt there, but I don't think you'd stand out terribly if you were wearing a t-shirt. Just don't look 'sloppy'.
