Artist Point and Chef Selections

Has anyone been to Artist Point lately? If so did you notice if there was a chef selection offering and if so what the selections were?

If there was a Chef Selection any idea how much it was?

Hi,

Mom & I have done Chef selection but it was awhile back. I do know that for 3 selection it was close to $50 I believe. Can someone confirm???

Yep $45 $47 sounds about right, plus the wine pairings. We love this, going again the day before easter.

I have my Chef's Selection menu right in front of me! This was the menu as of January 27th.

GREAT BEGINNINGS
Smoky Portabello Soup (OMG...this is to die for!)

SALAD
Bibb Lettuce with Buttermilk-Chive Dressing, chopped Egg and Bacon
OR..
Endive and radicchio salad with Pears, Blue Cheese and walnut vinaigrette

ENTREE
Cedar Plank Roasted Salmon /celery root Ptato Puree, Fennel and Truffle Hone Brown Butter
OR
Grilled Beef Tenderloin w/ Butternut Chevre Dumplings, Swiss Chard and cabernet Sauce
OR
Grilled Buffalo Sirloin w/Sweet Potato Hazelnut Gratin and Sweet Onion Jam


DESSERT

Artist Point Berry Cobbler Seasonal berries and House Made Black raspberry Ice Cream
OR
Coffee Two ways-Mochaccino Bread Pudding and vanilla Latte Creme Brulee


mmm... i just got so nostalgic while typing that out! That was a great meal. It was $47 per person.

I had the endive salad, the beef and the coffee two ways. DH had the Bibb salald, salmon and cobbler. I tasted every one of his dishes, and there was not a loser in the bunch!

A Fine Dining tip-if you are on a budget:One person orders the Chef's selection & the other orders just an entree. Split the soup and the dessert. Voila!

Also wanted to add...on another recent thread, someone mentioned dining at AP, but they asked if they could switch up the side dishes and it was no problem. I, personally, would be afraid to ask in a restaurant of that caliber...but I keep forgetting how accomodating everyone is at WDW!
