Artificial Christmas Tree

I find seeing an artificial tree in person setup in the store is helpful. Some look cheap and have very few branches. The more expensive ones tend to look fuller regardless of how many lights it has. You can always add more lights if you like the style of tree.

Might be nice to take a road trip North for your tree, if you go soon there are changing leaves and orchards all along the way, plus oceanside spots are quiet like in Cape Cod. If you go after Thanksgiving there are lots of cute Christmassy spots you can visit along the way and back. I'm thinking Cape May NJ, Hershey Park Candylane, Bethlehem, PA Christmas City Christkindlmarkt with horse drawn carriages, keep going and there is Santa's workshop North Pole, NY plus many ski resorts and such to luxuriate in on your way. Could be a really nice.

All I did was search under the tree description that OP put up. I didn't count lights, LOL. My wife's nephew worked at Home Depot and works at Lowes now and has said many of the products he sold are Home Depot are at Lowes, but the name of the manufacturer is different.......but it is the same product.
And I just showed you by the screenshots that none of what you searched for even matches the OP's tree's description like none. Did you find one that said 5,000 lights? No you did not, that was in the OP's description.

It's not the same product at all. Look again..like really really look at my comments. Hopefully that helps you. You attempted to help that's great but continuously saying you found the same item when you have proof right in front of you that you didn't doesn't win here. And you have multiple posters telling you the same thing.

Home Depot is always a good store IMO though.

You could def. add more lights in fact we've done that to our tree because we can't get it to light up in a section after years but the problem people run into with that is specified lights already on the tree and adding more not looking the same. Sometimes that's half the fun. We did that with old incandescent bulbs where I have a very old set that has pink bulbs which aren't sold like that and haven't been for a long long time (these lights I have are decades old) but even in our LED lights we've purchased aren't the same as other ones as other ones. It can def. depend on the look someone is wanting since different manufacturers of lights don't look the same.

I think if someone plans on adding more lights and stick with that year after year it's easier though more time consuming to go with an unlit tree and do it yourself. I suppose though if someone can keep the tree intact without having to disassemble it that works to do a pre-light one and do the additional lights just once if they are fine with the lights having a possibility of not matching completely.

Well tvguy look at it this way. Since it is assumed that you obviously no nothing about selecting an Artificial Christmas that is one less topic you will have to respond to on the boards🤣 I for one think it was very considerate of you to take the time out of your day to look up the information. Even if incorrect a simple “ I’m sorry but these appear to be different “ would suffice. 😊😊😊

Ahh and now so do you!

They don't, not even in the product descriptions which is exactly where I got the information below from plus the brief description of the tree in the label isn't even the same. Not sure where you get the idea the product descriptions match. I realize you tried to help the OP but they aren't the same at all.

The OP's tree has 5,000 lights listed on the description 4,139 tips and a Cavalier Fraser Fir

The other Home Depot tree you posted has 3,000 lights and 4,399 tips and a Castleford Fraser Fir

The wayfair tree you posted has 750 lights and 2,763 tips (this one is really a very very very different tree in the end)

My assumption is you probably have never really bought AND actually paid attention to an artificial tree before because it all matters. The number of tip to lights ratio is a really important part, generally you want a close ratio with high numbers because that not only means you'll get a fuller tree (the number of tips) but also have a more lit tree (the number of lights). It can really affect the appearance. You can't just remove 2000 lights and branches (for the wayfair one especially) and say "well they are the same" :upsidedow
Does anybody verify if the advertised trees indeed have 4139 or 4399 tips?

Doubtful. But 5,000 lights on a 4,399 tree vs 3,000 lights on a 4,139 tree will have a noticeable difference if that's what you're looking for in a tree. If both trees had 3,000 lights a difference of 250+ tips won't be all that noticeable. And now you know ;)

Well, at the risk of putting in my two cents, I can see the item in an ad from Home Depot ( .com instead of .ca ) dated 2019. The description matches word for word with the Canadian description. However, when I search using the item code from the advertisement, I get the message that it is not available in stores or online. My guess is that it was sold in the USA at one point, but is no longer sold here, for whatever reason. Another site using the same code showed the item as Not In Stock at Home Depot and at Walmart, so it may have been available at Walmart at one time. I do not know if Home Depot and Walmart had an agreement at one point to sell HD products on the WM website. I believe finding it in the States may be a lost cause. You can probably find something similar, but not the exact item. I did check Lowe’s site, and they have nothing close in quantity of tips or lights.

I agree with shopping in person though. Sometimes a tree looks great on a website, but the physical tree looks ghastly. Sometimes a tree looks bad online, but looks good in person. Good luck with your hunt, whatever tree you buy.

The Canadian site says 4139

I have known for a year which artificial Christmas tree my wife and I would love…the problem…Home Depot only sells them now in Canada and not the US. I have called the US Corporate office and they said so…and they will not ship from Canada to the US. Living in WIlliamsburg, VA might anyone have an idea how to get this tree here?

We bought one of the cheaper ones from Home Depot a few years ago. This is the one I wanted, but just couldn’t spent the money. Ours is exactly like it, but with less lights (still micro dot and go from white to colored). Love my tree. Hope you find this one. It was amazing in person. I wonder why it is no longer sold here?

Take a weekend trip to Toronto and buy it while you are there.

Since it was actually sold in the U.S. at one time, I bet somebody on some Facebook or Craigslist group is re-selling the tree cheap. They might not be having big Christmases anymore. It probably is a matter of scouring the Internet to find it.

I have actually seen this be the case with various other products sold on-line by Home Depot & Lowe's as well. It appears they don't bother to purge older products from their website even if no longer available for sale. Depending on how you search for it, items may still appear but you can no longer purchase them.
