Artificial Christmas scents/allergies

Okay, as I'm trying to plan out an early Dec. 2005 WDW trip to finally see all the decorations, CP, MVMCP, etc., I just had a thought. There are certain artificial scents/sprays that trigger an allergic reaction in me. We'd be staying at WL and I know it gets heavily decorated. Does anyone remember "lots" of pine/other aroma that probably was more than just the natural greens smell? Or in the parks?
Thanks!
Karla B.

Pine type scents really bother me and I don't remember smelling anything like that when at Wilderness Lodge, the parks or any of the other resorts. Maybe I just got lucky but I honestly didn't notice any artificial scents around the trees or decorations. :)

Most any "scents" will give me a migraine. I had no troulbe while at WDW. We visited WL and I do not reember anything out of the ordinary.

Not sure what "reaction" you have but I always make sure to carry advil with me to take as soon as I can after I am expossed to a trigger, like scent.

Thanks for your responses...just what I was hoping to here. It sounds like both of you have similar sensitivities and if WL at Christmas hasn't been problematic for either of you, I feel much better about it! (My problem isn't migraines---that's my DH's specialty--mine is hives!)
Thanks again!

The Christmas shops at both MK and Downtown use an artificial pine fragrance throughout the store as well as a sweet candy smell at the candy store in MK - just thought I would give you a head's up.

Color me dumb, but I had no clue the sweet smell at the MK Confectionay was artificial! Really?

Thansk for the heads up. As long as it's just in a few individual stores, I won't have a problem. I was more concerned if there was some kind of semi-constant aroma being sprayed in WL or in the parks to make things more "festive" for the holidays. I'm pretty sure I'll be fine
Thanks again!

The bath store at DTD has a lot of scents from all of the soaps. I believe it is called BASIN. I got as far as the front door and had to turn around. It immediately gave me a headache.

WOW! Thank you very much for that question! BF is allergic to evergreens, even if the scent is artificial. I never even thought to ask this question  Thanks Again! ::MickeyMo
