Article on parks upkeep(or lack thereof)

Apparently Cedar Point is able to keep up with the Slobs. Why not Disney?

It's all well and good that they are painting and all, but they shouldn't be doing so in plain sight[/element]

That being said, Disneyland has been refurbing th ePartners square in front of the castle for the last week and they have it behind walls so you can't see what's going on. Good Show.

I don't know if society is more prone to drop litter on the ground more now than in years past. I remember the "Don't litter" public service announcements from when I was a kid (the crying native amarican by the side of the road and the "Give a Hoot, Don't Pollute" campaigns). If there was a need for these types of messages twenty/thirty years ago, people must have been littering quite a bit all along.

We were at WDW last week, and I made a special point to give everything the white-glove exam (well, figuratively speaking) to the parks.

Honestly, things seemed in fine shape. One restroom was getting a thorough wipedown while I was "visiting," and I didn't see anything else yucky.

Once I saw a "protein spill" from a young lady climbing off the teacups, and CMs were there in a jiffy.

But, yeah, there are some areas showing the normal wear and tear that comes from 30+ years of useage. Is that inevitable? Just asking.
