I think I sent this to the Podcast Crew a few months back as an email, and was going to call it in as a voicemail after this week's show, but I have lost my voice as part of a cold, so this will be a post to the board instead
From the examples that I have seen hanging in the Art of Disney, the print quality of the "On Demand" Attraction Posters seems to be lackluster. Now, this may be my opinion, and I may be a quality snob, but... it appears that the "On Demand" posters have a bit of graininess to their print, as opposed to the "regular" posters you may see that you can purchase in the tubes.
Anyway, if you're interested in making the purchase, at least check with a Cast Member first to see some examples. Your eyes may see it, they may not, or I may just be loony. All of these are viable options. To each their own

When we went back, they said they had no poster tubes and weren't able to print anything (there was a backlog of about 20 orders by that point). But a shipment was supposed to be coming the next morning, so we planned to come back to pick it up before we left. Lo and behold, we go back the next day and there are no tubes again, so they offer to comp the shipping for it, and it would come in a week-ish. Fast forward to two weeks later and no sign of the poster. We phoned to ask where it was and they had no record of shipping it, so they sent another one.
Later that same day, the first poster arrived! Why there was no record of that is beyond me. Anyway, we called back to cancel the second one and in the end no harm was done but it was a tad frustrating, especially because they route the calls through a central 'call center' for DTD and we could only talk to someone in the actual Art of
