Art of Animation have elevators?

Just the family suites, though. I'm pretty sure the Little Mermaid section does not since it's built like the other Values.

Little Mermaid rooms have elevators as do ALL the other Value resorts.

VERY FEW Disney hotels have no elevators ... off-hand I can think of CBR and the Alligator Bayou rooms at POR and some buildings in OKW.

That's great. I never should have doubted you. We've only stayed at the suites and the people I know who have stayed at the values, complained about not having elevators so I assumed they didn't. Guess I should have realized what would happen if I assumed something. Nice to learn something new!

The elevators are all in the middle where the three wings meet. In front of those areas are usually the GIANT icons .......... so it's possible someone could have not found the elevators and only walked up the stairways at the end of the building ......... but if I'm on floor 4, you can bet I would be hunting down those elevators. AND some people just like to complain even if it's not an issue.

I think Disney wishes they had not built anything without elevators .... even one floor up can seem like torture after a day in the park OR if you have big strollers. And to folks who need a mobility device but not need an HA room .... big miss on that one.

all wdw resorts have elevators except 2 - CBR and part of OKW.(most of OKW)

I think Disney wishes they had not built anything without elevators .... even one floor up can seem like torture after a day in the park OR if you have big strollers. And to folks who need a mobility device but not need an HA room .... big miss on that one.

I think all Disney construction complied/complies with all regulations at the time of construction or major renovation.

They could probably add elevators to each building by removing rooms, but why bother? So, so, so many of the buildings do have elevators, and no major reconstruction is planned.

That's great to know! Staying here in September and nothing worse than having to bump big suitcases up and down potentially 3 flights of stairs!
